Great card game
As a former tournament card player, I can always appreciate a good digital card game. The game looks good and it operates well. I believe it's challenging enough to satisfy me, without being frustrating for others. The differences between the difficulty levels are so small that I don't believe it matters which one you play. I don't usually care about challenges and trophies, but I do find myself trying to meet them. Overall, I think it's one of the best games of Spite and Malice out there.
Need to be able to take back a card
Far to often a card drops where you don’t want it and there is no way to pick it back up. The runs the computer gets are ridiculous and annoying. The update of being able to “level” up, there is absolutely no reason to, no reward of any kind. Getting like an extra turn card or such would make it worthwhile. Plays well and smooth, just wish I could leave the sound on but turn off the clapping or “Awwwww” at the end of a game.
Don’t purchase the Spiteful level
I love Spite & Malice and have played it for years. Recently, I purchased the fairly new Spiteful level which is supposed to be more difficult. The original price for this level is $6, but it was on sale for $3. I expected more difficulty and higher level of graphics, but was so disappointed! I contacted the app maker and they could care less. My advice is to stick to the original game.
