SplashID is the world's most trusted password storage system. For over 12 years, over one million users have kept their passwords safe with SplashID - and now it gets even better with an all-new version.

Think of SplashID as your personal vault or digital wallet on the iPhone or iPad. You can store and lock sensitive information - not just usernames and passwords but credit card data, account numbers, registration codes, prescriptions, and much more.

Keeping your usernames, passwords, and bank account numbers in your head, on a Word or Excel file, or written on a piece of paper is unsafe. Passwords can be forgotten; laptops can be lost. With SplashID, your data is easily and quickly accessible, reliably stored, and - most importantly - secure.

Only SplashID offers:

- Access: Free, native, secure apps for mobile, desktop, web, and browser
- Choice of sync and storage: You decide how to store and sync your records with convenient cloud sync, local network Wi-Fi sync, or on-device storage
- Touch ID login
- Customizable record types and categories keep information organized
- Photo capture feature quickly and easily stores credit card information
- File attachments: upload photos, documents, and add notes to any record for reference
- Protection features include 256-bit encryption and 2-factor authentication
- Secure sharing: Safely share records with other SplashID users or even those who don’t use SplashID
- Automatic SplashID Backup service to ensure data never gets lost
- Security dashboard provides usage statistics and tools to monitor and fix weak, reused, and old passwords
- Web autofill saves typing in usernames, passwords, and delivers the correct address from the secure data vault every time to prevent phishing
- SplashID extension available for autofill in Safari
- Refer a friend to SplashID and you both receive a 25% discount on a SplashID Pro subscription

Lock your personal information up in a state-of-the-art data saver and feel comfortable knowing that at any time you can access private information safely.

No other password app delivers SplashID's combination of features, reliability, and security. Compare SplashID to others:

The app is free to use with basic record storage functionality. A one-year subscription to SplashID Pro gives you many additional features like sync across devices, Security Dashboard and Automated Backup for just $19.99. It's auto-renewed at the end of the year, or easily cancelled. Refer a friend to SplashID, and you both get a 25% discount on SplashID Pro!

Customer Reviews

Used to be a good product

Ive had this app for years on both my PC desktop then MAC and palms and then iPhone. They are to be commended for having one of the few password keepers that do wireless sync, as complicated as that can be. But I wish they would have put that hard work and effort into keeping up with the software and actually performing customer service with the clients that buy their programs. It seems every time they do an update i loose my information or i get duplicate records. Then I had to go in and clean it out. I have emailed them many times for support, which is the only way they offer any support, and its always useless suggestions that Ive already tried. I am currently still using the program and just make a rigid effort to back up my data regularly. It constantly crashes on me when i make any edits to my duplicate entires. I feel like the modern password keepers are so complicated that I wish we could just go back to a basic pen and paper system. I dont like cloud sync which is what almost all password keepers offer, and just like splashID they kept pushing for your data to be on the cloud. Have we not learned anything from the infamous Target hack? I am currently looking for another password keeper but in the mean time I continue to use SplashID hoping they will improve their customer service and their product to keep from crashing.

Can't print records!!

I've used this app for years, and put up with a lot of shenanigans by the developers because overall it was the best app of its kind on the market, and because I'd invested so much time and effort into using it. Now, with the latest update, the developers have decided that they know better than users and have completely disabled the ability to print hard copies of the records! Their Reason? The sensitivity the data! Really? Like I don't already know this? But their reasoning totally ignores the reality of a history of app crashes and data loss that this app has had in the past, also ignores the hackability of cloud services. And their suggestion? Take screen snaps of the data! HAHAHAHA! Like that's not risky too, especially if one uses sharing and/or cloud services for photos. To say nothing of the hundreds of records that I, for instance, have. While these developers may be clever, they don't have the right to be so dictatorial! Get over it and restore the ability to print hard copies of MY records, which I can then store in secure locations, such as lock boxes and safety deposit boxes. Otherwise I'll go elsewhere!

Problem fixed

UPDATE: Turns out it was not an app problem, but a server problem on Splash Data's end. All is well now and many thanks to Splash Data for keeping users informed on the app's status all day via Facebook and Twitter. I remain a loyal customer.

Yesterday Splash ID worked fine on my iPad Air. Today I installed the IOS 9.0.1 upgrade. After that I could not open the app. The first screen pops up but never opens the password screen. It just closes back down. Then I tried it on my other iPad Mini that I had not yet upgraded and it would not open there either. I deleted the app on the iPad Air and reinstalled it. I went through the setup process and even synched data from my laptop. I then closed Splash ID on my iPad and it will not open again. I am beyond frustrated as I use this app everyday. Any suggestions??
