Doesn’t work at all.
I got some pretty big movie wmv files to play on this player, with the hope that finally I could enjoy the movies, it turned out that the videos just appear as weird colored blocks on this player. Besides the graphics, you then hear a crazy loud sound that breaks your ears even though I set the volume to 10%. It doesn’t work at all, and what’s worse is it’s not free.
Bad picture quality
Seems like it could be a nice player, but on the two movies I've tried it on, the picture quality is much worse than Movist. Looks like a misapplied filter or something. If that problem was fixed, this looks very promising.
No automatic subtitle matching.
I thought this mac version of SPlayer should have the same automatic subtitle matching function it has on windows version but unfortunately it does NOT. Just a heads up for anyone who wants it to perform how it works on windows. Other than that, it is just a normal media player, nothing special.
