Love the service, hate the newest app updates

The past few updates have caused long playlists to take forever to load. I never had that issue until about a month ago and it's occurring on all of my devices. I have friends who are experiencing the same issue and it started around the same time for them as well. I'm also sad to see there is no longer an iPad-specific app for larger screens. The latest updates removed the multi-column interface and now we're left with a scaled-up phone app. This doesn't work for the large screen especially if you're trying to click the ellipses on the far right of the screen for a given song. And the problem is even more pronounced when the iPad is in landscape mode. I like the service a lot, MUCH more than Apple Music, however the latest updates are problematic. Devs: I'm running the latest version of the app on the latest stable release of iOS, if that helps. I'm also open to discussing these issues via email.

Obviously I love the app because I use it everyday but these are some of my biggest problems outside of the algorithm.

Obviously ads are annoying. They always are despite them being integrated into our society many many years ago. However, there's always 4 ads in a row. One to warn you about it, the actual one, one to let you know what you already knew after, and another 30 second random one (which sometimes even has the "click here for more" ad after).

Then, there's just recently been my own problem with it getting an ad usually, sometimes a song, and the app sending a popup thats says "Playback not working" or something then not letting me play anything.

Not too impressed

A previous version had a feature, to which I enjoyed very much.

First, the previous version had a feature where you can make a playlist including only one song. I do, well did, that most often, but now one can simply not do so. I absolutely adore this app. It's been my favorite go to music application, but recently it has been making me frustrated. I honestly could really care less about having limited skips and advertisements, they never really bother me all that much. But I can't even listen to one certain song when I need to hear it the most. I have been going through quite some difficult times lately and I would always listen to this one certain song and it instantly revived my happiness. Now I cannot do so and it highly upsets me, if I must say.

Secondly, I would like to address the fact that on tablets you can listen to any song you want, but cannot do so on mobile? Why is that? It seems a little unfair to be completely honest.

Clearly, this seems to bother me and I have found out that other users agree. I seriously hope you take this into consideration. I hope you fix this soon.
