Sprak is a noise app, noise as in crackles and phat distorted drones.
Sprak is an instrument for people who loves to experiment with noise.
Sprak was born out of a need to play with evolving noisy noise while riding the train.
You could also make sounds that sound a bit like hypnotoad.
Still not decided if you should shell out .99cents for this most awesomely awesome glitched out noised curcuitbentish app? check out the soundexamples over at http://www.tinkerteam.se/?page_id=87
What's New in Version 1.2
New feature, filtercontrol while pressing the speaker cone down.
Also some efficiency and crash-fixes.
This app is just awesome. The knobs are responsive and fun to tweak, the "mute" function adds another layer to what you can do. You can go from pure noise to more atmospheric drones if you play around with it enough. I have plenty of music apps but this is by far my favorite. I do agree with other people though and it would be cool if you can save your sounds and maybe even export them. If you really want to have some fun, plug this into some gear!
However, when I'm downloading/updating apps in the background, every time one of them finishes the sound cuts out. Well, to be more specific, the switch flips to off, and when I put it back to on, I don't hear anything.
Other than that, awesome app. One of my favorites, much to my gf's dismay! >:-)
If you like noise the way I like noise...
...then getting Sprak should be a proverbial no-brainer. Tweakable noise. That's Sprak. Nothing nice about it . . . and why bother, really? There are enough things in the app store that make unfalteringly nice music for you with little-to-no effort. Get your hands and ears around Sprak and worlds of gritty, corrosive sound await you.
Fantastic! Thanks for making this!
