The custom BPM keeps me going!


I’ve happily used Spring for several years. I like having the ability to select a walking or running pace, knowing the beats-per-minute tempo of the music selected for me, based on my interaction with the app’s playlists, will keep me moving steadily. The only thing I would change, for now, is the ability to adjust tempos on the fly within a single workout to accommodate intervals of running, walking, and jogging. Otherwise, the music library is pretty good, and the app is fairly intuitive about playing my likes and avoiding my dislikes within my genre preferences. Customer support is VERY personal and responsive, too. I don’t use the GPS or stats, because I run other training apps concurrently that I like better. But as far as I know, Spring works fine as an all-inclusive fitness app for road warriors. Overall, an invaluable tool in my workout box. Good work, dev team!

Great app but subscription glitches...


Great music selection for a wide variety of workouts with a solid GPS feature which has been helpful with planning runs. My only gripe is that I have had slow resolution in a problem with my subscription upgrade and billing. Was fortunate enough to take advantage of what I thought was a sweet offer—a flat fee for a lifetime subscription (with free BT headphones included!). The problem is I paid for it but a glitch is preventing the subscription service from recognizing it. A few attempts to fix the problem were initially met with responsive help but were unsuccessful. Now I am not getting any responses to inquiries and billing issues still remain a problem. I think the company is decent and wants to get it resolved but the silence has been deafening. Hopefully it gets fixed before I get billed again.

I was an over 40yo novice runner when I downloaded this app looking for music to help me keep a steady pace. I was running about 13-minute miles back then and lacked the ability to keep going for a full mile. When I developed plantar fasciitis, I had to switch to riding my bike temporarily, and I was able to continue using Spring to keep my pace consistent. After using this app for two years, I have improved my overall health by reducing my resting heart rate, losing 35 pounds, and running sub 11-minute miles. It’s not lightening speed, but it’s pretty good for someone pushing 50!
