Still bad, years later.
Not optimized for any model after the 5S, so 6/6S/7 and all the Plus models look too big and stretched.
With most customers being moved to e-billing, a carrier's app is the only reference point to a company customers are going to see on a regular basis. Apps are not just an "extra" any more, they show a company's commitment to its customers, its ability to pay attention to detail, and offer a place to delight users with well thought out information and branding. It's not an opportunity for pop-up ads, cross-selling attempts, or for most buttons to forward you to a website that isn't mobile-friendly to get view account details or get anything done. Sprint is guilty of all of these.
The built-in network report tool gives no option for confirmation that your report was received. I've submitted over 1,000 reports since the tool was made available over a year ago, and the issues I submitted continue to this day. Perhaps this "feature" is merely a placebo?
The Sprint Zone app doesn't follow standard iOS UX guidelines, isn't easy to navigate or use, requires multiple logins via the app and/or mobile site with no option to "remember" the user's login, offers no 3D Touch functionality, has no Touch ID authentication built in, no option to pay via Apple Pay, and often crashes on my 7+.
Other carriers are killing it with their apps. Sprint, make a visible commitment to your customers and update your app for the realities of 2016.
Frozen for days now
It worked for a while, I used to easily use it every month to pay my bill; although I'll agree with another commentator that you don't get any confirmation # on the app (it'll email you one between like 15min-sometimes as much as 24 hours later, but you do get one immediately when you pay on the actual website). I've got an iPhone 6 btw. So the Sprint Zone app completely stopped working as of a few days ago, which I wonder if it's because of the update they made on Sept 29th (just a few days ago). It'll say "waiting" or the app just looks kind of greyed-out - but for days now it's been like this. I tried everything, I tried to delete the app, tried to access the app from the App Store, put phone in airplane mode, turned it off/on, nothing works; it's just like this frozen, dead app on my phone taking up space and I had to go on my computer to the actual website to pay my bill (what is this 2014?) Everything else on my phone works fine. Get it together Sprint.
Looks horrible!
Not optimized for any iPhone after the iPhone 5. looks cheap and too big. I checked out the other phone services ( Verizon, AT&T, and even T-Mobile) and they all are optimized. Get it together Sprint. Or else I'll be switching over. I'm already sick of your crap. I can't even get a decent looking app. it's been how many years now and still not optimized for iPhone 6 and up. smh. Instead of coming out with a bunch of half baked useless apps how about you make one app that's appealing and actually works. You advertise your dookie app and push us to use it but don't make necessary refreshments/updates/and much needed changes to make it user friendly. You have over 10 apps and all are pathetic. Just like your customer service, low quality and dookish. only reason why I'm with sprint is because you're cheaper. Shoot I starting to think I'd rather pay an extra 20 bucks with Verizon and have an appealing app and great service all around than staying with your low quality self.
