First of all, if you haven’t used Square cash yet make sure to enter the reward coupon KRSLJVB on the sign up screen to get a $10 bonus when you send your first transfer! Enter it after it asks for your number. If you’ve already signed up you can enter the reward coupon on the profile menu if you scroll to the very bottom.
The service itself exceeds the competition found in PayPal and Venmo in its ease of use. Sign up is super easy and very convincing for friends, particularly when out to dinner in NYC where asking the waiter to split a bill is like pulling out your teeth. I like the fact that I can send money to anyone even if they haven’t signed up with Square yet. The app is simple to use, swift and clean. There are two options for transferring money to your bank. Either instant deposit which takes a small fee or the next day. It seems secure, especially with the touch ID integration for quick payment. This app has changed how I exchange money with friends! Welcome to the modern era.
Square cash is now my go to for quick payment transfers to friends and family. Overall you should definitely give it a try, especially with the $10 bonus it gives you!
The worst app ever get VENMO instead
It looks as though yet again the transactions have been canceled a second time despite me contacting your customer service department the first time it occurred. Clearly your customer service department is incapable of something as simple as resolving this matter the first time it occurred. What is more concerning is the lack of due diligence of follow though when it comes to following up on a simple task such as this. Since it is clear your app is incapable of processing a simple transaction I will be taking my business else where to Venmo. A real company that is free and can send money to friends the first time and actually know what they are doing. So I want to thank you for nothing but an evening of frustration due to the incompetence of your staff. I will be sure to let everyone I know about how terrible this app is. Already went on Twitter and Facebook. Can't wait to tell everyone at work and on campus. So I hope you take pleasure in the fact I now will be out the funds I needed that should have been cleared by tomorrow morning. (Since your app decided that 1am in the morning was the best time to notify me that the transaction was canceled I will now have to wait till tomorrow morning to contact my friends a third time no less to pay me through Venmo the true free app that lets you transfer money to friends.

Elegant design, but marred by its own simplicity
I really want to like Square Cash. Square is a great company, and the simplicity in its interface is a huge plus vs. apps like Venmo. Instant deposit is a fantastic feature, even with the 1% fee. It still doesn't usurp the killer feature of Venmo, though: how simple it is to look up friends and make sure they're the right people, through social network integration. Not only that, but the iMessage app only works when sending to others with iMessage, unlike Venmo which starts a normal transaction. I do like that it can work accountless, which Venmo cannot, but ultimately the platform restriction and higher possibility of sending to the wrong person turns me off of it.
