Awesome App
Long time user of Square. Started with the reader and my iPhone. Now using my iPad with Square stand. The latest improvements make it much easier to modify items and setup from the app instead of having to do it all from the website. One thing I see missing currently is the ability to set up a photo for categories. Individual items themselves can have pictures added to them, so why not categories as well. This would allow you to set up a category such as t-shirts with a picture on the register tab and once you select it, you can then see all the t-shirts in the group. Please add this. Otherwise, love the app.

I'm a small business owner and Square is perfect for me. Very easy set up. When it's time to make a sale it connects easily. I have the Square register on my Ipad. I open up Square, type in the amount I want to charge, I run the card and it tells when it's complete. When all is done it asks me if I want to email my customer a receipt. Which I do. The fees are competitive with others, actually lower. It's all Easy Peasy!
When app didn't work, they told me to do business elsewhere
My advice? Look at PayPal or other alternatives for your needs.
I have seen people use square at many events and got excited to be able to accept credit cards at art walks. Unfortunately I had some issues with the app and talked to customer service. After a long wait they got back to me basically saying "sorry, but while we'd like you do do business with Square, it just isn't possible."
I was appalled at their lack of explanation for why they had just denied me from using their service. My girlfriend also attempted to make an account but had the EXACT SAME ISSUE. I've heard of other people having the same problem too. I guess they just don't like people's business..
