Ratings and Reviews

Not very useful

Sure the style and UI is cool, but it's just poorly designed. The tags aren't even in alphabetical order. I messed around with it for 10 minutes trying to find "questions" and only could locate "answers." You can't even log in and clicking on profiles opens a safari tab.. Not worth downloading.

Great app!

This app is intuitive, easy to use, and it has great content. I love that I can access topics from SQL to parenting, all sorted with the most valuable content at the top. Love the simple (but sleek) design -- being able to swipe back and forth, rather than having to hit a tiny back button, is a great way to navigate. The only improvement I can think of would be to allow us to search by tag, in case we're searching for a more obscure topic.

Overall, this app gets 5 stars!

No logging in?

For someone who just wants to go straight to one of the StackExchange sites and look up questions by popular tags, Stack-Ed will get you there quickly.

Myself, I’ve been on StackExchange for a while, so the first thing I wanted to do was log myself in and look at my stuff. But I could not find a way to do this.

Since I imagine a lot of seasoned StackExchange users want to do the same, I can’t understand why this basic functionality isn’t one or two taps away from the main screen (if it’s in there at all).

Worse, there seems to be no way to search within a StackExchange site. There is only a list of about 25 of the most popular tags from which to choose.

I give this a VERY generous 2 stars just because the weak features that are in here are implemented so cleanly.
