When you have the app, you have the map. The app works without cell phone coverage or having to download or cache anything. Yes, you read that correctly. No need to be connected to the matrix at all. Make technology work for you while you are outside having fun. No zooming and panning to a particular area before you leave. No worries about cell coverage or Wi-Fi hotspots. You are supposed to be outside enjoying yourself. Just grab the app from the store and you have all the info in your pocket.

Wherever you go, there you are. How often have you wished there was a “you are here” dot on your trail map or guidebook? Well now there is! We all know how useful the “blue dot” is to show you where you are in town or on the road. Now you can take advantage of easy navigation on your back-country trail adventures.

Guidebook info at a fraction of the cost. Save yourself a pre-trip Amazon order and get all the relevant info from a $12-$30 guidebook/map for a fraction of the price. So what are you waiting for: download the app, check out the map, and get outside to play.

Good starter app, not worth money yet

Map should be interactive. Currently can't tap a trail for more info. Numerous trails near Stanley aren't in the trail list. Trail list doesn't say if bikes, or horses are allowed. Clearly someone's first app. Keep trying, could be great. Currently not worth money. Any GPS app or google maps is as/more useful.

White Clouds Singletrack is the Best!

I just downloaded this app and am looking forward to using to get out into the White Clouds to do some epic trail rides. My only concern with this app is that it is going to make it too easy for people to get out and explore the great trails this area has to offer. Having the "blue dot" will resolve a lot of trail side debates as to where we are on the map. At 0.99 cents it seems awfully underpiced since a comparable map is $10-20. Get it now... or wait don't. I want all these trails to myself.

Sawtooth adventures made easy!

It doesn't get much better than exploring the Sawtooths. While I do enjoy getting away from it all, it is nice to have a map with the "you are here" functionality that works without cell coverage. More routes in the routes list would be nice but the map looks complete to me. I am looking forward to using this app to check out some new spots in the Stanley area. This app looks like a good one.
