Well made app! Worth the download
I've used the app for about 3 years and seen it get better and better. Just about everything I've left as feedback for the app has been added to or fixed in the app after the last major refresh. Not that they were listening to me in particular, but it shows that they are trying to make this app a truly useful piece of software. TouchID makes account refills a 15 second affair, favorites make re-ordering sooo much faster, and finally all notifications and promos are in the app, so you don't have to check the website also. The store location maps are now much more accurate. The only disappointment for me is the apps inability to accurately register the quantity of items you've purchased for StarDash promos. Unless you complete a SEPARATE transaction for every item individually in your order, it will not correctly track the number of purchases. 8 of 10 StarDash promos I complete require a phone call to Starbucks customer service to ensure I get all the stars I'm due. They are always cordial, and always fix the issue, but 8 out of 10 times? Really? I won't deduct stars because to be honest, the same thing happens whether you use the app or pay cash at the register. I hear they've fixed this problem with an update, so I will test this update to see if it really and if it works consistently, I'll edit this review.
Love the product
I love the product but for some reason Kennedy location here in tampa are always screwing up my order . Last time I spent extra money so I can get almond milk because I'm allergic to dairy products. The barista put milk by mistake coz I saw her so I ask her what happen and she said nothing and still gave my order so I told her that I just saw her put milk in it why wouldn't she change it to a new one just like i ordered and paid extra for. I just called he manager so he got me made me a new one. This morning I specified that I want Venti pumpkin spice chai latte so when I got to work it was only pumpkin spice so I called and the manager name Ashley was did not even want to hear my concern and hang up on me. So I called again and a lady name Jennifer answered and I just ask her for the corporate number and she was nice. With all this I still continue to buy Starbucks and no file a complaint but today I sure will. I'm not happy coz I spent basically half of my pay to buy Starbucks not only for me but for my husband and family and not happy to be treated that way. I spent money for the quality and customer service but so far in this location I alway have problems. I don't even get that problem when I'm in the cruise ship ordering Starbucks and when I'm in disney. Yes even in my cruise I choose ship and other Starbucks that's how much I like it .
Starbucks app and rewards program .
I love the app for most part but it gets frozen or does not always update the purchase at times. Bonus reward is great for most part, only I feel I don't get offers based on my purchase but they want to sell. I have never received any offers to purchase teavana teas which is what I buy most often . I also buy other beverages such as latte, cappuccinos and frappes. I have not gotten any offers for that also . I don't like the fact some offer are time constraint related especially if it before 11am or between 11am to 2 pm. Due to work not possible to get starsbucks between that time or even stop over at one in morning if running late. Also they keep sending me the same offers over and over again of which I don't care of which combo of warm sandwich , protein box and a breakfast sandwich. If I don't use a offer , I don't receive a offer next week so I don't get bonus stars for two weeks. I love to receive the offers based on what I buy , bakery items only offers, teavana teas only offers and breakfast sandwichs only offer and also any purchase offers are good too. I can also deal with any bevearage purchase offers also.
