The STARFACE Apps combine powerful high-end business telephony with a seamless integration of instant messaging, voicemail, video chat, and faxing. These features are also available for your iPhone.

The STARFACE Apps bundle all communication channels on your smartphone and turn it into the innovative and modern communications center of your STARFACE telephone system.

The Journal keeps you up to date with everything that happens. Who sent you a chat message? Who called you and left a message on your voicemail? You can see everything concerning your STARFACE account. Your STARFACE Function Keys (BLFs) are also available right on your mobile phone, as are instant messaging and the STARFACE address book. The integrated call manager gives you access to a wide selection of functionality and ease-of-use features such as call brokering (toggling), call forwarding and inquiry hold.

The STARFACE App for iOS works over LTE and Wi-Fi and directly reduces your mobile phone bill.

• A STARFACE PBX (Version 7.2 or higher)
• For full functionality incl. SIP telephony, a STARFACE App Premium Licence on the STARFACE PBX is required for the particular user.

• Significantly revised journal synchronization for enhanced reliability.

- Resolved inconsistencies.
- Precise synchronization of deleted entries in the iOS app for accurate data replication.
- Optimization of background processes in the iOS app to minimize synchronization errors.
- More robust and efficient performance.
• Further journal improvements:
- Improved logic for calculating the counters for unseen journal entries. The counters in the tabs for calls, faxes, chats and voicemails are now updated accurately to capture only unread entries.
- Improved logic for marking journal entries as read: Faxes, chats and voicemails are now correctly marked as read once they have been opened or listened to.

- Additional option in the context menu (via swipe) to quickly mark unseen voicemails and faxes as heard or seen.
- A new / unseen voicemail is now immediately marked as heard when "Play" is clicked without listening to it completely.

Bugfixes
• Fixed: [SC] Deleted list entries (call list, voicemails, fax) from another client or device were still visible in the journal. [Call#6952251]
• Fixed: The call list in the journal was not complete in some cases, individual entries were missing.
• Fixed: After a short interruption of the connection during an active call, the call was not displayed in the journal of the call list. It only appeared after logging out and in again or after restarting the app.
• Fixed: Group calls continued to appear in the journal after the user was removed from the group.
• Bug fixes to address/prevent increased occurrences of app crashes.

in some cases:
• Fixed: In some cases, no chats were displayed and loaded in the journal.

• Fixed: If the SF app was in the foreground when an incoming call rang and you wanted to forward it without answering (blind transfer), in some cases (especially on iPhones with small displays) the notification of the incoming call overlaid the forwarding menu for selecting the subscriber to forward.
