Good game

I am a big fan of tower defense games and this seems to be a good one. I would have given this 5 stars but there are just a few things missing. The "tier" idea is not really clear as to what is needed when. The tutorial kind of leaves you just before research and does not really help you in the right direction. Once you are able to get things figured out, it is pretty fun. I would rather spend my time figuring out the enemy and not the dynamics of my end of the game. Someone with less interest than me would probably give up with a bad taste in thier mouth. A good example is when the "stealth" ships show up. What are they? How does thier stealth affect me? How do I counteract it? Then upgrading past L4 towers… what do I need and how do I use it?

Overall great gameplay for me. I think that if I stick with it, there are enough options to keep me interested.

Not As Good As the First Starfall

I really enjoyed the 1st Starfall game. I spent hours playing it without any problems.

This game is less impressive. In a few hours of play I've had several crashes. I'm running OS 10.8.2. Every crash I've had has occured when I hit the "Main Menu" button after I complete a level. Luckily, I haven't lost any progress in the game due to the crashes.

While it's still a fun game, I was hoping for more different towers this time around. While Starfall 2 does add some upgrades over the 1st game, I don't think it's different enough from the 1st game to justify buying it. You still have the same same towers this time around. The strategy is exactly the same as the 1st Starfall game.

Like I said, if you like TD games, I'd highly recommend the 1st Starfall game, but you can probably pass on this one if you're played out on the 1st one.

Starfall gets better and better!

Has worked flawlessly since installing it. I liked the first Starfall and this version has upgrades and new units which make it even better!
