Hello, Interwebs! It’s me, Billy—I’m an intern here. You might be asking yourself, what in the heck is an intern doing writing the update copy?! Well, apparently some big TV show aired last night and everyone is all kinds of lathered up about it, so I’m the only person in the office today. Don’t worry though! I’m taking this opportunity very seriously.
I’m pretty much the eyes and ears of this place, and last week there were rumors floating around about these blue-eyed bugs that were kinda tough to squash. There was talk of putting together a search party to go find them—I suggested using the brand new search bar that we just put in the Invest tab, but apparently it doesn’t work that way. Who knew?
Anyways, our CEO himself gathered a group of our very best, fan-favorite engineers and led them on a mission into the deep, wintry recesses of our app. I was all like, “Maybe we should send a few less important people? Just in case?” But I guess the logic was that if we could risk losing even one of our A-team, we might as well just risk losing all of them at once.
Good news, they made it home safely. Bad news, they did NOT bring back a blue-eyed bug for my terrarium, as requested. They just squashed them all. Disappointed, but staying positive!
Well, that’s the big stuff. Side note, I’m really trying to build up my resume, so if you want to write me a recommendation, you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I know I’m not supposed to put that in here, but as my mom said before I moved to the big city—”Billy, you believed in the tooth fairy for 19 years. You can believe in yourself for 10 seconds!”

Ratings and Reviews
Yeah!!!! Yes you must have this app!!
Whether your a beginner like me or a pro this app will Surely make you money!!! It is not for short sellers sorry. You start with $5 and they even give you $5 just for signing up!! The education they provide is amazing and so is the customer service. They have all the updated news on the stock market!! There customer service is never rude and they don’t talk to you like your stupid! They are extremely friendly and do everything they can to help with your issue:):):):) if you want bigger returns in a short amount of time go with the aggressive profile when signing up!! If you want something in a phew years with little money down then go the conservative route. You would have to be crazy not to invest right now and for us little guys who don’t make much this is a way to put a phew dollars away for the big pay out in the future. America is stronger and growing so jump on the train and invest while you can;) I myself have only been investing for a month now and I’m $300 into my investment and I’m starting to see some real growth no bull!!! Warning this is not a get rich kinda app this is real buying and investing in the stock market. In reality if you want to see real returns I suggest starting small with a phew low cost stocks like $30 or $40 a stock price worth and buy a couple of those full stocks at $30-$40 each. And then just sit back and watch them grow😉. I give STASH ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. You will to I promise!!!
Good concept, bad app, horrible customer service
I like the fact that you can purchase partial shares with small amounts at a time, however, they keep offering these banking services and after you sign up and link your cards, you’ll never be able to see them again. They have all your info and give you no option to review or modify your choices. They’re also very bad at communicating changes, issues or due dates for offers. The app itself needs significant improvements, the FAQ is useless to me, and when I contacted customer service to ask where I could see all the banking options and services I signed up for within my account, customer service responded with instructions to update the app!!! Seriously???
Overall, this is a great idea, poorly executed and the way accounts have been managed is starting to make me paranoid about this not being an honest reliable company. I wonder if the earnings are also been manipulated because first; the values shown in the app are not real time (I look up the funds in other sources), so when you buy shares you’re not actually buying/selling at market price, you’re buying/selling at Stash price. Second, it seems like a lot of people start with earnings of 11-20% (great hook to keep someone motivated) that change to about 1-2% overtime. I could blame the market, but then again, you’re trading at Stash prices, not market, so I can’t trust what’s really happening to my investments. I think it’s time Stash gets some competition.
Developer Response ,
Hi VV! I am sorry that you have lost confidence in us, however, we do not use "Stash pricing". We execute trades twice per day every day that the stock market is open (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays), so whatever transactions are initiated after our last trading window - usually between 3-4 PM - are traded on the next business day, so that is why you see a difference between the price at which you bought/sold. We ARE working on improving this process, however. - Stash Team
Beginner, I'm so excited about Stash!
Wow! I've started at the end of July and I feel very confident in this app. I've always wanted to invest. First I tried Merrill Lynch with my bank and they even called me, at first I thought I was opening just a retirement / savings account with them but they said I signed up for stocks which is very confusing since I thought it was savings. But I tried and really I couldn't understand nothing of that, I still haven't deposited anything because it's too confusing. So I researched other ways and this is when I found Stash. I started with $30 a week out my checking account then as of 2 weeks ago my only return was $2.35 and I had 4 ETFs but one seemed to not be doing so well, I know they say sell when market is low but as a beginner I don't understand all that but as it was not doing me well and the other 3 were better , I sold that one and put $10 out my stash account into the one doing extremely well. I feel very confident in my choices and as of yesterday I have a return of $4.35... In 2 weeks $2, that's amazing to me as it took me 4 months to get only $2.35. I'm still learning and I still want to open retirement and savings in stash as they offer both. I even got $5 for getting someone to sign up and it's $1 a month fee to stash :) no one can beat that! Win win!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
