Stereoscopic Tunnel Effect by Mindlapse, for the Hasbro My3D stereoscope, google cardboard, or any other similar stereoscopic iphone attachement.
You can enjoy the simple mono version of the effect in two variants, the simple texture mapped tunnel and the normal mapped (bumpy) with glowing messages version.
But if you have the Hasbro My3D, google cardboard, or any other stereoscopic viewer for mobile phones, flip the stereo switch, to experience the tunnel's depth in glorious stereoscopic 3D.
What's New in Version 2.1
- Retina rendering quality option.
- Fixed the bump mapping algorithm which looked weird in some places.
- Revamped options UI.
- Ad banner ONLY in the options screen, to support this free program.
Don't bother. If the tunnel reacted as you move your head around, maybe it would be kind of cool, but as it is right now, you just sit still watching a tunnel move back-and-forth.
There's really nothing to the app. I got it to try out my new VR headset, and it's just a series of unrealistic curvy tubes that you bash around in with words heading toward your face.
Don't get this app
I was seeing double the whole time it was in vr mode, and it's generally not very interesting
