Bad idea...

Colediggity7

Honesty, this app is a sham. Your goal for this app was to help prevent bullying, but this app is just giving people the power to make false claims about other innocent students. Also, if someone was really being bullied then they should go talk to somebody in person about it because this is just ridiculous, your teaching the new generation that it’s okay to not talk to somebody in person when they’re having life issues. Anyone that uses this app isn’t being a hero, they’re being careless. If you were really concerned about someone or yourself being bullied or harassed then you would get up and talk to someone about it. This is why schools have guidance counselors people! So really, this app needs to StopIt and get off the App Store before it does any more damage! 😡

Thanks for your review. We understand that false claims may be reported and we recommend that our customers investigate all issues fully as they would with any tip reported. We always encourage that students speak to their school counselors in person about sensitive issues when possible, however many students feel more comfortable using our app as a means to reach out for help. Feedback from our users is always appreciated and we’re always working to improve our platform for students & communities.

I feel that this app was a good idea originally to limit bullying but it has become popular for students to use this app to share false information about other students. I have recently been accused of saying things to another student that I have never said. I was forced to suffer the consequences for someone else’s action of using the STOP IT app to bully me. I feel that this app is hurtful to school systems and their disciplinary systems. This app is pure irony and I am very upset that this app has been used against me and I know that I am not the only one which this has happened to. Please remove this app from the App Store. You are only causing more bullying!

Should CC the parents on all reports

Vicminds

The user can be anonymous to the school to avoid exposure and complications , but the app need to be held accountable as well including the user, so put an option for parents to be added so when a student use the app to report anything . That report is copied to their parents without anonymity, this way parents can take a leadership role on these issues and decide how to deal with it in partnership with their school district. Developer just refuse that fraud is possible and school should investigate to the fullest is ridiculous, get parents involved, that is what is right.
