Strawberry Thief is a playful celebration of the work of Victorian designer William Morris. Journey through this iconic pattern and bring his work to life!
*Uncover the famous Arts and Crafts design by drawing on your screen with your finger
*Watch your iPad transform from blank paper to an animated masterpiece!
*Listen to a beautiful soundtrack by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, which builds and changes as you reveal the pattern
Strawberry Thief was created as a result of the first games design residency at the Victoria and Albert Museum, in partnership with Abertay University and V&A Dundee.
Games designer Sophia George used the history of British design shown in the Britain 1500-1900 galleries as a starting point for her research.

A lovely idea, well executed
This is as much of an art project as a game, and it works very well as a concept. The images and music are lovely, and I think the gameplay is clean and intuitive. My four-year-old granddaughter loves playing, but I find it beautiful and relaxing too!
A short relaxing game, it ran well on my iPad mini & was a cool concept, the colors come with time after you collect enough flowers or at least that's how it worked for me.
I felt as if I was being trained how to be British! One must be patient and immerse oneself in the game. The bird loves strawberries, which are plentiful if you allow yourself to push the boundaries of the pattern. Just stick with it and all will be revealed in layers of colors.
