Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Streamer provides streaming media to the iPhone & iPod Touch. It streams any type of media you want via RTSP, MMS, HTTP, Shoutcast, Icecast. With support for your favorite audio and video codecs, you're ready to stream!
It comes pre-loaded with a selection of audio (music) and video (Television) streams and more are to come. A large part of its functionality can be found in the bookmarks section.
Using bookmarks you can add your own internet streaming media.
There's lots of possibilities with Streamer. You can even set up your own internet stream using a desktop application such as VLC, and have Streamer view it right on your device. That makes for a great way to watch live TV or even use it as a baby monitor!
While there's tons of streaming media on the internet, you can also enter any direct link to a media file on the internet as a bookmark and play it back. No matter what the video or audio type is!
Thanks everyone for your continued support!

* And more!
Excellent the first time I tried.
There is a WMV stream I want to watch regularly at a certain time of day (WMV3, WMA2) and I'm not always near my computer. I thought I would give this a try. I put the URL in the bookmarks, selected it, and it worked very nicely on my iPod Touch 4. Beautiful picture and sound. But until it connected, I didn't know if it was connecting or what was going on until the video came up, which took a little while. A nice feature would be some progress indicator that it's doing something and is not just dead. Thanks for making this app.
Need more work.. But on right track...
It would be nice to see the buffering status %. I often find myself showing this app to someone and the screen goes blank(loading). And that person goes away. I still stand there and wait for it to load. Streaming comes up eventually then it freezes or stalls. It needs some work.
I do like the fact that you can change the streams without exiting the app. You are on the right track, but still needs some more work. Thanks for the application. It is the only one out there.
Works if you find proper URLs
I've had this one for awhile now,discovered about 10 urls that produced good results,Problem is most onboard urls have changed and don't work anymore, out of the ten new ones I added only 3 still work two months later,Good app if you have a way to discover the correct type of video feed and URLs.
NASA tv still works if you have a high speed connection,(Takes a full 30 seconds to buffer before it starts),I have a 3rd gen Itouch and with the correct URL this app preforms well video/audio.
