Description

Stretch - A continuous period of time. Stretch is a count down timer. It's designed to be to as simple as possible. It comes with five large buttons, each of which starts a preset count down timer, and a large reset button to stop the count down should you wish. It also keeps a count of how many times the count down has been run.

Stretch is useful for lots of things. Here's a quick list of things you might time with Stretch:

- Stretching!
- Exercising
- Rest periods

Stretch timers will run in the background and while your device is locked and the alerts will mix nicely with other audio if it's playing. There are options to disable the auto-lock, and to repeat timers indefinitely.

Use it every day.. Amazing

Great little app that does exactly what it says it does. I love it. Love the auto repeat, love the easy interface, love setting my own times. One think I wish it could do. I wish I could connect two times to repeat after one another. That is, run one timer for 20 seconds, and then run a second timer for say 40 seconds and then auto repeat. I'd use it for interval training and weight lifting. Lift for 30 seconds and then rest for 90 seconds, or speed train for 10 seconds and slow down for 50. Lots of good things. Anyway, love the app. Everyone I've told loves it. You will too.

Perfect for pomodoro/focus session use

This is the only free pomodoro/focus session timer app I found that allows you to start with whichever timer you want (working interval vs. resting interval) or to skip timers ad hoc. As a timer, its minimalist design and intuitive user experience means everything you touch does exactly what you expect; no frustrations!

Feature request: The only thing this app is missing is the ability to run multiple timers concurrently. I would love to use it as a cooking timer while also running working/resting intervals!

Perfect other than volume

I hoped to get a timer on my phone that would allow me to time stretches during PT. And I wanted it to be concurrent with the podcast playing I listened to while stretching. And finally, I wanted it to count the number of stretch exercises.

So this app is perfect. AND it has large buttons that are easy to hit when in various stretching positions.

The only way it could be better is if I could adjust the timer beep volume independent of the podcast volume. At a volume where I can easily hear my podcast, the beeper volume is uncomfortably high.
