iPad Screenshots

Create electronic circuits for stripboard and veroboard whenever and wherever! Take your design from the schematic stage to a layout that you can print out or share. Great for DIY projects, one-offs and prototyping.

- Easy and intuitive design process taking advantage of the touch screen.
- Work on multiple layouts. A library will help you keep track of it all.
- iCloud integration for all your layout files and output files.
- Generate comprehensive output files based on your layouts, in either image or document format (PNG or PDF) containing your layout and it's matching parts list, with additional options like a purchase list and a trace cut diagram.
- Share either your layouts or the derived output files via other supported app, like mail or other cloud storage technologies.
- Send your output files directly to a printer that supports AirPrint.

What's New

Version 1.3

This update brings a new user interface for layout drawing.

NOTE: Due to changes "under the hood" existing layouts have to be converted to a new format before they can be accessed. After upgrading, a layout can no longer be opened by an earlier version of the app.

- New user interface for layout editing.
- Should now adjust properly on larger resolutions, like the iPad Pro.
- Should also work with iPad split view.
- Support for horizontal orientation.
- Replaced exit/home button (previously in the upper right-hand corner) with a home icon in the toolbox menu.
- Menu buttons for changing a component's draw order more easily.
- Greatly increased workspace area for your large layouts.
- Improved graphics performance (iOS 9 minimum requirement).
- Long-press context menu for workspace components.
- Ability to edit or delete the selected component.
- When more than one component overlaps, a specific component can be moved to the top of the draw order.
- Parts list "lock" icon to better identify locked components.

Ratings and Reviews

A great start

This app is a great start at tool for capturing prototype circuits. I often find myself wanting to try other circuits out with an Arduino or Edison but hesitate because it means disconnecting what it's being used for now. This app goes a long way to alleviating the problem.

The main issue is that the drawing area is not large enough to hold a big design and it is too hard to select a different component instead of moving the one already selected. If there was a way to zoom in and out as well as favor already selected items over nearby ones, I would be really amazed and give it 5 stars.

Long time coming...

Been waiting for this for awhile. A mobile option to layout stripboard projects. This app delivers and exceeds expectations. Great app for DIY circuit makers (I think its roots are in the DIY guitar pedal community). Would've paid double for this app.
