Easiest workout app out there!
I've been struggling to find a workout app that is simple to use and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I bought the $9.99 package, and it is totally worth it. The app tells you exactly what to do, and the plan just works.
I'm not new to lifting by any means, but this is my first time using the 5x5 program. I'm seeing way more progress than any other plan where you work out multiple hours at the gym. An hour or so every M-W-F and I am already seeing results. I'm starting from the beginning, and I'm excited to see where my lifts end up. It's easy the first few weeks, but it definitely gets harder.
If I could give it another star I would! Awesome app, and awesome program. Support the developer!
Works great and worth the $9.99 to unlock everything for warm ups, what plates to use, additional exercises to add to the routine, etc.
I am also really impressed with the support for the app. I had reported an issue after the latest update, prior to Jan 10 update, and they responded within 24 hours and they fixed it in the January 10 update. Not only that, they followed up with an email to let me know my reported issue was being fixed with this update.
Great app, great support, a must have for 5x5 lifters.
Best app I've found
If you want a simple app to take all the thinking out of your workout and let you focus on the important things, this is it. The only thing I'd like to see change is the ability to alter the core exercises so it can work with other lifting programs easier. Was going to use this with the starting strength program which uses power cleans rather than rows, but I can just do power cleans and track them as rows.
