* Removed sidebar menu. Moved all workout options in a new bottom toolbar. You can now delete/switch/edit workouts and add a note from here.

Great for beginners

This app rocks! I'm a 50 year old man who never worked out in his life. Nothing to be proud of, but strong lifts 5x5 changed my life! I went to the doctor for some back pain I was having. So right away they want blood work. Needless to say my cholesterol levels were high and I was boarder line diabetic. I was told I needed to change my diet and exercise. The diet wasn't to hard thanks to my wife who eats healthy all the time. But as far as an exercise program that would get me in shape 5x5 was it. In just 4 weeks I can really tell a difference in the strength I have gained not to mention I lost 20lbs! I read the 5x5 work out program all the time to try to improve my form and start a healthier life. The app makes working out easy and calculates the weights. The results are so impressive that my wife is going to start the program to! Thanks, 5x5 rocks!

No question - best lift tracking app out there

I don't care what he is charging - get this app. I've tried about 12-15 others, and they were all "meh" or worse - until I came to strong lifts which knocks it out of the park on *every* single feature I was looking for. There is absolutely nothing I would change, and it has conveniences like quick display of the weights on warmups, easy ability to boost your weights during a set, perfect interface for tracking missed reps - basically everything. Just get it now, I promise you if you are doing a training program that is progressive (most novices for first 6-9 months) this is the App for you.

I'd been lifting for a year before I found this 5x5. Having this plan has changed the way I look at weightlifting. The StrongLifts app makes it easy to rest correctly, lift the "right" weight, hit and conquer goals.

Premium is unnecessary because all the value is in the 5x5, but the app itself is worth $9.99 in my opinion.
