Process or analyze any tabular data you have, any way you want, and see the results right away. No need to load it into a database. Just put some operations together, and see the result right away.

• Pull data from files, folder listings, URLs, the clipboard, Git repositories, Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and more
• Parse files as CSV, TSV, XLSX, JSON, web logs, SQLite, and others
• View as a table, a line or bar chart, text (plain or HTML), or a map
• Use real data types: strings, numbers, booleans, dates, locations, colors, blobs, nulls
• Updates in real time, as you edit the pipeline steps
• Keyboard-friendly
• Actual online user manual (really!)

What's New

Version 1.5.5

Performance improvements:
• "Rename Key" and "Compute" take less memory
• "Count Rows" uses a much faster word-count API

Operation improvements:
• For all JS operations, exceptions are logged in the sidebar
• For all JS operations that take input cards, there's a new "var" flag, which lets you request the entire card be assigned (as a dictionary) to a usable var. This can be handy if your keys aren't valid JS identifiers.
• In "Filter by Expression", an exception counts as "not a match" (but still obeys the "invert?" flag)
• "Remove Blank Lines" has a new "invert?" flag
• "Compute" now has "function" as an alias

Output view improvements:
• Filter/Parse context menus now match order of data types used in the manual
• New table header submenus "Analyze" and "Filter by Value" (hold option to invert, as always)
• For text view, there's a new monospaced option

Bug fixes:
• Fixed possible crash in "Filter by Filename"
• For JS identifiers, allow characters "$" and "_", and not just in the first position

• New documentation section for DSLs (regexes, globs, JavaScript)

Ratings and Reviews

Write to file not working. Needs improved help, open close files, and lacks intuitive navigation

Any of the cards for file folder operations should us a selection list from the folders you authorize in preferences. It is rather painful to type a full path into the card especially when your choices are limited to the authorized folders, not the entice system.

Writing to a file you also loose the visual display of it.

This application has a large amount of potential, but it is hidden by poor user experience. How do you open a file without doing a “card”. First time user won’t know how to do a card that is load file or url. Open is grey in the menu and stays that way. Drag and drop was the only solution I could find to quickly load a file. This should be the first thing addressed in the help. Why is “Tab” not the key to change to parameters? and why is it “-“. Weitd things like these really make it hard to adopt it.
