Could probably be doing more productive things but would prefer to be Stumbling
Stumble Upon has been my favorite app of all time since I first "stumbled upon" it 6 or so years ago in college. If an ad barges its way into your stumble experience - just swipe it away like you might any other page that doesn't interest you. Sorry that it doesn't direct you towards content that fits your interests 100% of the time - but it's more likely that you're just having a bad day. I never get annoying emails either - but that could be because I use a Yahoo email for most of my subscriptions and apps that I really don't depend on receiving or replying to their emails. I'm sure you could do the sAme. 143 stumble upon.
Today I decided to clean up my interests a little. When I went to do so, I realized that there isn't a way to delete an interest on the app version(at least as far as I could tell). I ended up just going on a computer and editing them there. But adding the "Unfollow" button to the interests on the app would be much more convenient. I knew another way to unfollow one was to go to the internet on my phone, BUT that proved to be an extremely annoying experience because all the desktop version wanted to do was transfer me to the app every time I tried accessing it. Not a big deal, but there's always room for improvement, right?!
Open email links in app
I really enjoy using Stumbleupon and the app is pretty decent except for a huge annoyance in my opinion. I don't mind receiving emails featuring stumbles that are recommended to me but why doesn't the Stumbleupon app open when I click on the "View Page" button in the email??? Typically the email shows several recommended stumbles but if I click the "View Page" button, Safari opens instead of the app. I don't even use Safari for iOS so this makes it even more frustrating. There are so many apps out there that take advantage of this feature so it's definitely possible. I might as well delete the app and save some storage space if Safari is opening every time I click the "View Page" button.
