Saved my Sanity

Styleseat saved the day. My app was not functioning properly while I was overseas, and I went through a 2 week period of frantic emails with them, upset and desperate to figure it out. During this stressful period, Styleseat put my case back in the hands of a Customer Service Rep that I was familiar with, a person who I'd been working with since I started my account with them, and just this small thing was extremely reassuring. In the end, turns out the app was only not functioning due to my being overseas, as soon as I returned to the Bay Area everything was normal again, so I owe Styleseat a HUGE apology for freaking out prematurely and threatening to leave them! Through this ordeal that was no fault of theirs, I was extremely impressed by how patiently, kindly and promptly they handled the situation, along with constantly trying to improve the app. They turned what could have been a horrific experience into a Golden experience for their client, and now I will never even think of leaving them again! Thanks a million Styleseat! I was not wrong to choose you!!!!

From a professional standpoint they take your money every month for membership , charge you for all your credit card transactions but then can't contest any disputes that scamming clients file. I had a late cancellation policy in place with style-seat and even still they allowed the clients bank to give her her money back. What's the point of using styleseat when anyone could dispute and you end up losing money and giving a scammer a free hair service. Style-SEAT has done it to me various times with over $300 dollars even after to ask for you provide legitimate proof that the client is in the wrong. As a business owner what benefits do I get from a company that I have a to pay $35 a month to for a membership plus pay a fee for credit card transactions and then on top of that they can't contest unfair disputes on your behalf (with proof) even when your their more valuable client snd you created the cancellation policy with THEM! Honestly to any professional be careful with style-seat , if any client disputes they always win no matter what proof you show.

I joined StyleSeat 4 years ago and it was great. Business was booming and customer service was great! Until they wanted to charge 50% for referral (which a crazy amount) but on top charge you $35 a month. Now they allow clients to switch cards so it’s no point of charging no shows because they’ll just put a card with no funds on it because StyleSeat no longer checks to see if they actually have funds available.. This company is greedy is working for the client ain’t not the professional which is where they make their money off of. StyleSeat charges you a monthly fee of $35 plus a processing for every transaction.. Go to Genbook they’re better.

They have it in their policy that they can review your account and never pay you if they choose to at any given moment! They are crooks and theirs. Your account information isn’t safe here! Please don’t use their service.. don’t trust any company you can call on the phone.. Their only method of communication is email. And they answer when ever they feel

When it comes to no-show protections, we totally see your point. Our engineers are actually working on some major improvements to our credit card authorization process right which will prevent clients form booking with pre-paid or bad cards.
