Q1. Why do I need to enter product details when I add items to my closet?

Q2: What are Daily Outfit Recommendations?
A2: A new perk for members! ClosetSpace now offers personalized weather-based outfit recommendations, delivered to your inbox every morning to inspire you with looks from our top bloggers and stylists. You can opt out of these anytime by clicking unsubscribe on any email. Most users love this - we think you will too!

What's New in Version 3.1.2
Speed improvement for sync, easier settings menu + fix for "can't access camera" issue on some devices.
Lots of potential
I used this app for a while, quit for a couple of years, then came back and remembered why I quit - it seems really great on the surface, and you don't really see the frustrating parts until you've already invested a lot of time. Pros: Can access on both computer and mobile. Keeps track of cost per wear. Allows you to plan and schedule outfits.
Cons: Photos do not save consistently (no rhyme or reason; not tied to file size or type, mobile vs desktop, or anything else as far as I can tell) - the same item may say it has saved the image 5 different times but always deletes the picture as soon as you navigate away, yet if you create a duplicate item using the same picture it might work...very frustrating. Not all info fields are available on either mobile app or on desktop (if you want to enter all the information about any one item you have to switch back and forth). Organization of shelves is not modifiable and sometimes unintuitive (eg shoes and socks both go under 'footwear' but tights or stockings go under 'intimates'; 'jeans' are a separate category from 'pants and shorts' but denim shorts are under the 'pants and shorts' category). Can't share closet URL with friends who aren't using the app - if you try to send an email invite, it gives you a link to your closet (supposedly) but the link doesn't work - obviously they originally planned to have this functionality but gave up on it.
Great tool for organization and closet minimizing
Great idea, nice design, some useful features. I love all of the sorting options, though it would be cool if the app made suggestions for what to pair with what (based on color, style, outfit history, or whatever). I got this app in hopes to start wearing everything I have and to get rid of pieces I don't wear. Not only does the app provide statistics for what you wear most and least often, but entering stuff is quite a hassle so it provides incentive to only include the best stuff, haha. The catalogue is pretty sparse so you're going to have to do the majority of the photographing. Really though, once you take a day or two to painstakingly inventory everything it really is a fun & worthwhile tool. There's definitely some room for improvement, but I think it's worth the time if you're committed to curating your best wardrobe.
Excellent idea but entering information is agony
I love the idea of this app and continue to struggle through its difficulties, but it is painful to enter the information. Even after the most recent update as of today, I can only sometimes use the camera on my device directly from the app. Usually, I still have to take photographs and store them in my gallery, then import into the app. I couldn't access the camera through the app at all before the update, so I guess sometimes is better than not at all, but I would like it to work every time. In addition, the brand names and stores that I enter do not always show up in the list that is provided. It would be nice if I could set the brands and stores to come up by my most frequently purchased first. It's difficult to have to enter in the name each time. This could be a great app if it worked smoothly.
