Great game, medium app

Random notes:
-- Tutorial is incomplete. It gives a very basic understanding of game/interface, but leaves off important details like income and reputation go down when population increases.
-- Single player campaign is an interesting challenge. Recommended.
-- Single player campaign is frustrating because there are no saves. Switch apps for too long and you will be reset.
-- The tile, income, and population are all computed at once. This is a good use of technology, but is bad for learning the game. I spend most of my time trying to figure out why the numbers are changing. I usually fail.
-- That said, the tile scoring summary would be greatly improved if (a) moved so it doesn't cover other tiles, and (b) gave more icon information like it does for the population speed bumps.
-- Can't do anything during another player's turn. Instead of disabling everything, only disable the two rows of the market.
— Async games act weird.

- (minor) I don't like the white background, especially at night. Something darker with some texture might contrast the hexes better.
- (minor) The plus signs are difficult to distinguish from minus signs (iPad mini retina).
- (minor) Wish there was an option to have the borough board be at the bottom so that the suburb grows up. The board game allows this.
- (minor?) Allow players to choose between two secret goals.

The game itself is good. Very puzzle like.

Description of challenge doesn't match actual success criteria

Frustrated Customer 2

Just played the easy Salt Lake City challenge and could not figure out how I failed to "connect all the tiles". Searching online, I found a post from the company founder stating that all the suburb tiles needed to also be connected. The text setting up the challenge make no mention of this and make it impossible to win if you don't know that. I would have thought that a board game designer would use more precise instructions. Only buy this if you're looking for a game that doesn't tell you how to win and you love fumbling blindly trying to figure out the rules.

Love the game. App needs work though.

I like this game a lot but the app needs some work. I'm constantly getting error messages in online multiplayer...the latest being "bad argument #-1 to ?" What the heck does that mean? It's also really confusing to challenge/host my friends. I always end up player random players which is fine but I had hoped it would be simple like in the Carcassonne app. I'll continue to play because I love the game and already purchased it but I hope it will be improved soon.
