Description

▻Sudoku is Sudoku with Point System, Runs, and Online Leaderboards. Discover the next evolution of Sudoku with amazing graphics, animations, and ease of use. This is a Sudoku like one you have never experienced before ;)

...Thousands of puzzles, all free. Top class puzzles with selectable level of difficulty :)
________________________________
To the classic Sudoku, we added:

=> A smart point system, wherein your score is based on 1) the value of each number multiplied (at the time of its match) by a multiplier that decreases in time and 2) the value of each block, row, column multiplied (at the time of its completion) by the decreasing multiplier

=> Thanks to Game Center, you can now rank and compare Sudoku scores and achievements against friends and strangers

=> ▻Sudoku also counts the runs, that is, each uninterrupted sequence of games won, and adds them to the online leaderboards
________________________________
In ▻Sudoku, you win a game when you solve a puzzle with 3 errors or less (we used this threshold to give a bit of slack for mis-tapping :) Also, you have a number of hints to help you play (more at the easy, less at the hard level). To fit any taste, you can choose between a lush tile look or a more classic board look :)
________________________________
You gain access to medium level after you win the easy level 2 times consecutively, same for hard level (3 times)

Customer Reviews

a bit addicting

I like how the game keeps track of previous scores; you can push yourself for better speed & accuracy. For a free app, the adverts are acceptably visible but non-obtrusive.
To make the ‘expert’ level more challenging, I only allow up to three ‘hints’ of any given number per block of nine; if, say, a number six has four possible squares inside a given block, I won’t enter any hints for six in that block until one of those squares is solved by another number.
One more twist: at ‘expert’ level, sometimes at the outset a new game will give you none of the squares in a certain block solved. I’ll enter hints only (three max) in that block and never actually enter the solutions, but only take away incorrect numbers as the game progresses.
Long review, I know, but hey, I’m kinda like addicted...

5 star game except bottom numbers overlap and cause mistakes

Update many months later--the overlapping numbers you must tap at the bottom of the screen is still an issue!! I hate loosing points because of touching a neighboring button that overlaps the button i want to touch!!! These number buttons are too small on an iPhone 6+ I love this game except that the numbers on the bottom overlap each other causing the incorrect number to be selected very often thereby lowering the score. It would be better to stack them (which will cost vertical space), or make them smaller in one row, but with definite clear space between each button. I'm using an iPhone 6 plus, which has a large screen, but those overlapping buttons are maddening. I always try fir no mistakes games so it is very maddening.

Fun and lively version

This has been one of the better free versions of this game. The controls are quick and easy, and the general look is pleasing. I especially like the color variances when working with a selected tile/number, it really pops out. The adds aren't too annoying and one of the best aspects of this game is that it works just as well off line as on. The only real negative about it is the lack of variety of the puzzles: they are always the same size square no matter the difficulty level. Some offset, some variety, would make this a real mind exercising game rather than just a time-killer.
