Only a couple of suggestions
I loved this app, it really helped me organize my time for the festival. I used 'Favorites' and the 'Schedule' constantly on my Galaxy Note 4 and my iPad 2. The ewaitlist worked fine for me on my Note 4, I used it for 3 screenings and got into all of them. My only problem with the ewaitlist was that it took FOREVER (like over 24 hours) to get a password reset. Suggestions: 1) It would be really helpful if you listed the other screening times for a movie in the details from the schedule. When trying to decide what to try for on the ewaitlist I found myself constantly wondering,"Is this the last screening for this movie?" 2) What happened to 'Go Watch It'? In past years there used to be a 'Go Watch It' link next to each movie. If I clicked it it kept me informed via email all year on when and where the movie was going to be playing. That way I could catch ones I missed and spread the word about screenings past the festival. Anyway, THANKS FOR A GREAT APP!
App would be fine if the ewaitlist wasn't back. As a local who never has the money for the packages, and used to attend the festival almost exclusively by waitlisting the movies I could afford and wanted to see, last year's super-flawed ewaitlist all but ruined the festival experience for me (and MANY others', if the many conversations I had and overheard in each waitlist line was any indication). There were a few movies I was interested in seeing this year but seeing that little "ewaitlist" tab back (combined with conversations I've had with people who tried the system again this year and told me nothing has changed) was genuinely disheartening enough that I likely won't attend a single screening.
WORST IDEA EVER
This is the second year of this app, I did not like it last year, and this year I HATE IT. It doesn't work, I've tried it all week with no luck. I log on 5 minutes before the time needed, wait for the countdown, immediately press the button, then get another countdown to wait for my number, then each time, multiple times a day, get the message that it is "taking more time than expected" and... Then... I... Wait... And... Wait... And NEVER GET A NUMBER, NEVER. The entire week has been a struggle, with frustration, and anger. This needs to be fixed. I have tried it alone, linked with friends, on wifi, on my own data. Nothing helps.
