The SunTrust Mobile App is optimized for your Apple device and is specifically designed to provide quick and secure access to your personal accounts. You can make payments, transfers, and mobile deposits, view account balances and account activity, as well as search for ATM / branch locations. Read further for details and other important information.
To get started, download and launch the app. Then sign on with your SunTrust Digital Banking User ID and Password. It’s that simple.
-Option to view your personal account balances quickly without signing on
-View your personal account balances for Checking, Savings, Credit Cards, Lines of Credit, Access 3 & Installment Loans.
-View summary information for Mortgages, CDs, and IRAs.
-Search up to 180 days your personal account transaction history.
-Make mobile deposits (if eligible, limits apply).
-Make bill payments.
-View bill payment history.
-Make one time personal transfers.
-Make one time immediate payments to Installment Loans, Lines of Credit & Access 3.
-Make one time immediate advances from Lines of Credit & Access 3 including 3 advance options.

-Make credit card payments (if eligible).
-Initiate cash advances from your credit card (if eligible).
-View credit and cash advance available balances and limits (where applicable).

The new Camera change that has the app take the photo of the check for you was a horrible, horrible, horrible change. Now I'm spending more time trying to get my deposit to go through, it takes going through 2 tries before going back to you taking the photo Manually on EVERY Check that I put into the system. Plus your key pad to enter amount of a check is completely out of order from EVERY keyboard on EVERY other device that people use, like a calculator, pin pad at a Gas Station, the number pad on a computer keyboard, etc.. Plus you have the whole screen to use & the keypad to enter your amount is like really, really SMALL
Love the new camera feature
I really appreciate the new camera feature I use to capture checks I'm depositing electronically. It takes the pic automatically once it's centered. If it can't capture the shot, it tells me what to do so it can. (Need a dark background, for example.) I feel much more confident that the deposit will go through correctly thanks to this new camera feature.
It's handy to have an app to get into my bank account. And I do especially like being able to make deposits from the app. Very often saves me a trip to the bank. However, the app crashes after every single deposit. And sometimes crashes in the middle of making a deposit.
So this is a stability problem that really needs to be worked out.
The other thing is being asked to write a review after every single use of the app. Even after submitting a review. Every single time. That just is not OK.
