What's New in Version 1.3
Difficulty adjustments, spikes are now removed from the table when hit
Unresponsive and slow controls = frustrating
This game has great potential and elements to be fun, but is marred by unresponsive controls and slow transitions. (On iPhone 5S) It is very hard to click on the buttons to transition from aim to hit, and bringing up the menu is almost impossible.
Unrelated to the control but frustrating is the slow transitions, such as waiting for the ball to stop rolling and also when you beat a level. It is frustrating to just stare at the screen to take the next move.
I'm leaving these reviews in hopes developers can address them. I think it's got great potential. Almost there.
Unresponsive Buttons, Bah!
I enjoy the premise and game, but swapping from positioning to shooting is painful - sometimes I have to hit the button 6 or 7 times before it works. Additionally, as stated before, aiming a precision shot is frustrating when the cue angle moves when I remove my finger. Maybe a couple buttons to do 1 degree angle adjustments would help. But those buttons would have to be more responsive than the existing ones. It would be a relaxing game if it didn't cause frustration. There's a lot more down time than there needs to be as well. I'm playing on an iPhone 5s, FYI.
the buttons are the problem.
the game is amazing. it really is entertaining. but the problem is the buttons. on iPhones (i've played on a 4S, 5, & 5S) the menu & retry buttons are impossible to press. & switching from aiming to shooting is painfully slow. as is waiting for the next level to come up. this really needs to be fixed.
