Become a superhero with the first ever motion-tracking workout game that counts every rep and every calorie of every exercise! Heroes aren’t born – they’re trained.

You’re pilot of the prototype AEGIS One battlesuit, tasked with defending Earth against alien invaders. Your punches become plasma blasts and your abdominal crunches power your suit’s reactor!

Made by Six to Start, co-creators of the world’s bestselling smartphone fitness game with over a million players, Zombies, Run!

Superhero Workout is the *only* app that can use your device’s front-facing camera to track your reps and calories. Prepare yourself for a brand new home workout – more interactive and more accurate than ever!

You’re Earth’s last line of defence, fighting the aliens across land, sea, air, and outer space. Get the most motivating and exciting home workout ever!

We’ve taken the classic “7 Minute Workout” formula and supercharged it with fast workouts that focus on different parts of your body. For the adventurous, there’s our Battle Workout mode – an interactive, motion-controlled endless battle against aliens!

Push ups and jumping jacks are great, but they can get boring. We’ve added mountain climbers, power squats, and punches to the mix – and even better, none of them require any weights or special equipment!

Superhero Workout is optimised for Apple TV, so you can work out in front of a big screen and position your device so it can track you best.

Climb the ranks of the Orbital Defence Corps by earning medals and Gamecenter Achievements for every rep and every workout you perform. Track your progress with detailed stats – we don’t just tell you how many workouts you’ve done, we tell you how many calories you’ve burned.

Would be great if it was customizable...

I desperately want to like this app. I like games, I like superheroes, and while I don't much like exercising I like things that make exercising more enjoyable. I was really hoping the Superhero Workout would do that. Unfortunately, the app lacks a critical feature: the ability to exclude certain exercises from a workout. People with mobility-limiting injuries (or who just live on an upper floor) may not be able to do certain exercises, but the only way to skip those exercises is to sit idle waiting for the timer to count down (or wave your hand a bunch to try to convince the motion sensor you're doing reps). At a bare minimum, the app should provide a "Skip" functionality for each exercise in a workout so you can skip the ones you can't do; and should show a complete list of all exercises in a workout prior to starting the workout, so you can see before starting a workout how many exercises in it you're able to do. Ideally, the app should have a selectable list of exercises so users can tailor their workouts to their own bodies and environment.

+1 star because I love the concept; -3 stars because I can't use it due to a critical design flaw. :(

Seriously just great

Okay, so for an unfit 16 year old like me who's only into video games, drawing, an being an unproductive potato, this app is fantastic.

As said 16 year old girl who's been out of PE since sophomore year and doesn't get exercise elsewhere, can't drive to a gym, and doesn't have the motivation do will myself into exercising, this app is fantastic.

I love love love playing video games, with a preference for first person shooters, and this is like the ultimate first person shooter with the added bonus of eventually giving me the body that makes me look like I don't sit at my computer for hours at a time.

It's so great and honestly fun, and so easy because all you need is a chair and a wall.

The Six to Start apps are extremely innovative, and it is so cool how they utilize functions of your phone.

Tough for someone out of shape

This is a really cool app if you want to make your workouts more interesting. However, unlike other Six to Start apps, this one is not adaptable to all fitness levels. I'm a little ashamed to say that I'm going to have to work up to having enough strength to do the exercises in this game.

If I could keep up with it, I'd give it four stars. The only problem I had with it was placing the phone where the camera could track me. It needs to be high for standing exercises, but low for floor exercises.
