Superimpose

Description

Just with a few taps, create professional grade superimposed or juxtaposed photos on your iPhone! You don't need a computers and expensive software to superimpose or cut/copy/paste one photo on top of another any more.

Here is how it works...

1. Load a background image.
2. Load a foreground image.
3. Mask out unwanted portion of the foreground image using wide range of masking tools.
4. Smoothen the edges with smoothen tool inside the app, if required.
5. Move, Scale, Resize, Rotate, Flip the foreground to place it on the right location on the background image.
6. Adjust the colors/exposure/contrast/hue/saturation etc. of the foreground and the background images if required to match both the images in terms of colors.
7. You are done! Save it to the photo library at full resolution or share it on Facebook and Twitter.

You can also use this tool to do serious photo editing tasks like blending textures or overlaying borders or to do double exposure with adjustable transparency and 18 blending modes.

Masking in the app is the most powerful one available on the app store, just tap on an area of the photo, and the app will mask out all the connected area with similar colors. Or you can use brush, lasso, global color similarity, rectangle, ellipse, linear, bi-linear or radial gradient masking tools. Mask a portion with this tool and that portion of the foreground image will become transparent and reveal the background.

NOTE: The app saves at full camera resolution up to iPhone 4S, all 8 megapixels (even higher on iPad), just you need to enable high resolution save in the settings.

What's New in Version 3.1

O An important fix for the random crashes while using the Lasso tool.
O Some other occasional crashes.
O And other minor usability tweaks.

If you like using Superimpose, please consider leave a favourable review or rating in the app store, we will really appreciate that.

Customer Reviews

Best editing app ever made!

Well first I would like to say I'm not a very big fan of spending money on apps. But buying this app was the most well spent $0.99 cents of my life. I use this app for everything I do for photo edits. I have tried develop background remover apps (cut me in, etc.) but I always come back to superimpose. Although, there are several bad reviews those are because people don't take the time and energy to look it up or watch a video. I learned how to use superimpose by watching one, three minute video and I was set. This is truly the best editing apps on the market. This is a must buy!!!

WORTH IT!

If you're one of those people who hate spending money on apps I get you. If you like editing and you're one of those people it's pretty tough. I've tried edge tracer, cut n place, picsart (my friends favorite), picmix, and some others but this one makes everything so much easier! Everyone has this and it's not a secret but you can do really cool things! If you're still wondering then maybe wait until your birthday and buy it for yourself as a birthday gift :) superimpose is very easy to use and I love it. That is why I'm writing :)

Disappointed

I'm not sure why there are so many full star reviews here, but I bought the app and it's horrible. First the user interface is very confusing. Buttons are small / hard to hit, the icons don't make much sense, and the entire experience is not very intuitive. Second the "magic wand" thing did a poor job removing background, especially when background is noisy or foreground had similar colors as the background. Third, there are very little selections in terms of blend mode or artistic filter. Overall I think this is an app of a fair good concept but very poorly executed. I'm not even sure how it stayed on Apple's "new and noteworthy" list for a while, coz the whole experience with this app is definitely way below Apple's user experience standards. Save you money.
