What's New in Version 1.0.3

- The Infinite War Battle Pack is now available in the main game, with no need for in-app purchase!

- Four keyboard keys have been remapped to become available on Mac keyboards, Windows Pause key to F11, Windows Numpad * (multiply) key to F12, Numpad + to +, Numpad - to - . Those may still not reach the game, if they are assigned to the system in Apple menu -> System Preferences… -> Mission Control -> Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts.

- The game should no longer freeze in places related to movie playback (or if it still does, it should now unfreeze after 10 seconds, as we provided additional workaround for a hard to reproduce problem)

- The game should not crash anymore when retrieving gamma table from display on systems with Intel HD 4000 card and external monitor.

Customer Reviews

I’ve waited a while to review this but now is the time. I honestly don’t like it. I’m so glad they ported it to the mac since I hadn’t played the second installment BUT I really don’t like it. I LOVED the first game. It felt balanced and big. This game feels weird. The technology skill tree is clunky and the lack of ability to upgrade buildings takes the soul out of the game compared to the first one. I’m really dissappointed since I’m such a fan of the first one. It just feels small. There are very few buildings, very few bots, and very few ways to play the game compared to the first one in my opinion. Also, I feel like they have taken away the ability to play defense. It is offense or die on this version. Which is ok but again it robs you of the ability to chose how you want to conduct war. The fantasy has been destroyed. Hopefully another company will pick up where this one left off and deliver the next step in RTS war gaming.

Did a cop say freeze?

The game is good when it works, but the game is frozen when: you start a match, you watch the cut scenes in the campaign, leave the match, during the match, and when trying to leave the game . I constantly have to restart the computer, i have 4 GB of ram and its more than enough to play the game, dont buy it, spend $20 dollars somewhere else, the campaign story is garbage, the skirmish bots are uneven and is either too weak and no fun or too strong that you can’t win and if you stay on the defensive for more than 10 mins they will get too strong and unbeatable, multiplayer is no good since the game is not popular enough making it useless and youll have to wait an hour to get a match, and when you finally get an opponent, guess what!!! ITS FROZEN. and its not like my computer is old, i bought it 3 months ago! It is not worth your hard earned money! i will change the rating when they fix the horrible coding this was built from.

Almost perfect… but no multiplayer….

This is the third review I’ve left on this game, I have the latest iMac thats pretty decked out and I am having no issues with this game. The updates have fixed the crashing, restored the extra content. I have no issues playing this game at all now EXCEPT, there is NO multiplayer (ONLINE) The AI isn’t bad to play against but gets pretty predictable and if not destroyed in a descent amount of time, will become too overwhelming to destroy.

I gave this 3 stars now because they advertised they fixed the multiplayer but in reality, still does not work.
