//Your Favorite Breaks
Track the swell, tide, wind and just about everything else you’d want to know about your favorite breaks; or track almost any break you’ve always wanted to hit. From Lower Trestles to J-Bay or the thousands of breaks in between, you’ll know when and where you need to be.
//Forecast and Best Conditions
Determine whether you should go to work tomorrow or if you should plan to call-in sick with the free 2-day forecast. And, if you’re paddling out somewhere new, the Best Condition chart will help you determine exactly when to paddle out.
//HD Cam’s, Full Reports, and Videos
If that info still isn’t enough, Surfline’s HD Cam’s and full mobile reports are just a tap away on surfline.com. Or, if you really need to get away (at work), Surfline’s suite of videos are right there to take you with a simple click.
//This app uses Location Services
This app utilizes Location Services (GPS) when you ask it to find the breaks nearest you. Continued use of GPS can dramatically decrease battery life.

Best surf report app available
I've tried them all and was surprised to see this one show up in a search since I had not seen it before.
This app is well designed, intuitive, and informative. The forecast took me a minute to find so discovery around that could be improved. I absolutely LOVE that it gives you information about what the optimal conditions at your spot would be. I also love that it actually shows me ordered surf spots based on my current location. Not sure why the other apps don't work that way.
Thanks Oakley, you saved me a lot of time because the other surf apps are so bad I was on the verge of writing my own.
Nice interface needs more data
The app is mostly pleasant to navigate and nice to look at. However, it makes you click a teeny tiny info button to get more surf report details and then if you want the hourly surf predition you have to go to the mobile Surfline site within the app. This is the main feature I use this kind of app to quickly see and imagine most people are looking for the same. The forecast section should display the hourly surf prediction and not just general wave height for the day. Also move more info to the location screen so users don't have to click through your tiny info button. On a positive side, the swipe function between locations is nice and smooth.
Beautiful interface, a little UX would help tho
This app delivers clear timely surf and wind forecasts. I love how the tides are depicted. If you have your spots saved you get enough info right at launch to determine if its worth trekking out that day.
The app has a lot more information available then appears at first glance however, and I think some user experience studies would help make it easier to get to detailed forecasts and other detailed info water sports enthusiasts need. Also I'd love to see some 5 or 10 day forecasts.
