Swipes - To do list & Task manager to Plan, Schedule and Achieve your goals
By Swipes Incorporated
Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
With Swipes for Mac you enter a workspace that keeps you focused on achieving a goal. Swipes is voted as one of the world’s top 5 productivity apps with a Best New Startup prize by Evernote and a nomination for a Webby Award.
Swipes takes away the stress of looking into long lists of to-dos and helps you focus on one priority at a time. It stands on the shoulders of a powerful productivity concept called the Swipes Way - Collect, Organize, Take Action. Based on smart integrations (with Gmail and Evernote, triggered via Swipes on mobile), the app helps you automatically collect all your tasks into one place. You can then quickly organize them according to your priorities and re-schedule everything else for later. As a final step of the success loop, Swipes lets you set your mind on this one priority and work on it with full focus. Once you’re done, the app will cheer you and send you the next action from the list.
Swipes is used by high achieving individuals and companies in more than 140 countries around the world.

You’ve had enough time to make this a well oiled machine !
I initially loved this App a couple of years ago. The feature set and the way it’s layed out is quite intuitive. However, the App (and developers I guess) have really failed at continuing to make intuitive and useful updates to the App and so now 2 years later it’s a bit stale and there’s many other Apps out there that are just as good if not better. First of all, an App that can’t sync directly with IOS reminders and requires a third party app such as Evernote is one thing but it continues to be buggy and average at best. Integration with email doesn’t work consistently and finally, the upgrade button ont the App says that a pro version will be out soon. That button has been saying that for 2 years !!! Come on swipes, you have great program. Let’s start making some creative updates and moving it past the competition like you had done when I first got the app a couple of years ago.
Not Good at all
The app doesnt do anything any other to-do list app doesnt do, and those apps do it better… Even the free ones.
I am not sure how Evernote gave this company an award… I thought Evernote only awarded companies that use their service… This desktop versions “Sync” button is disabled. So you cant even set up Evernote, rendering the app useless because I cant sync with my mobile devices.
Note: They are claiming it is free in the description, however within the app it states that they are reworking their premium features… This will be a subscription based model. Something that should be stated in the description before you download the app. Most companies that do this tend to get you to like the app and then lock the features you have been accustomed to behind a pay wall. While I am fine with premium features, I think it is a horrible tactic to promote a “free” app and the remove features that your customer base has been using only to put them in your “premium” version. I am not completely sure this is the case yet, but be wary in the small chance that you do like the app.
Terrific Approach–Extremely Helpful; looking for more development
I’ve tried every To-Do app ever and I pretty much always defer to Omnifocus. That said, I get overhwlemed by the quantity of tasks and projects and I have a hard time prioritizing. Swipes changes that in a big way. I’m still finding ways to incorporate it into my life, but it helps me decide what to focus on. I’ve always wished the to-do apps had a “do date” feature in addition to a “due” date, and Swipes comes closest to any app I’ve seen.
Like many to-do apps, they’re going to be focusing their development on Team/business/paid for features. I wish they’d focus as much or more on individual users… And Swipes dev. Team, please contact me for ideas as to what to add if that’s helpful.
Definitely an app worth supporting.
