This game is probably one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. The only other one I can think that compares, is (was) Castle of Shadows. That game however, no longer exists that I’ve found.

As a strictly free to play player, this is a rare game where if it weren’t so short and easy to begin with, I’d have probably paid for the coin doubler. There’s just simply not enough options at the store and frankly, not enough consequence of death to make me want to buy even a health potion from the shops. I went through the hole game without any consumable items.

Excellent gameplay, smooth fighting, and decent difficulty spikes make this game continuously entertaining up till the very end.

My only complaint would be that I wish there were more trinkets to choose from and just overall more map or story in general. Perhaps a new enemy arises after fixing the mageblade and defeating the dark corruption.

If this game ever gets adapted for consoles, I’ll be all over it.

P.S. Make a sequel please. More items to buy in the shop, more trinkets to find, higher levels to attain.

This game is great

This game is a great example of adventure 2D platforming game, personally, the graphics remind me of the N64. But also it’s a original game concept taking the best of MARIO and Zelda and mashing them together on a mobile device which is incredible (in my opinion). I think you should make more awesome apps and I hope this review Gave you some good feedback because I had limited time to write this little paragraph, I hope its not too short and I this helps you: make more games like this mashing good game idea in one on a mobile device. So I hope that helps you, thanks for reading, keep up the good work!!!

I think it has been 5 years since I wrote this review...stiiiill waiting for that sequel...god this game still rocks...

Best app I have ever downloaded...EVER. This is what mobile gaming should be. None of these bs call of duty/halo clones and whatnot. Please, PLEASE Touch Foo...make a sequel! I have never found myself playing on my iPhone any longer than 10 minutes. Swordigo has got me playing for at least an hour! Also, I would totally pump out $40 for a 3DS version of this...just saying. But seriously...SEQUEL! :D
