Coming from guitar, playing this synth feels a lot like a fretboard with the way the notes are arranged. The cool thing about this instrument though is that you can rotate it and change the possible fingering positions and scalar patterns. This is an excellent tool for learning scales, chords, anything theory related. The keys being labeled makes it easy to visualize what you are trying to play, and I encourage anyone to try it out and see what they can learn from it. Thanks Ryan for making this awesome tool.
This thing is amazing! It's like playing the giant light board at the end of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"! :-)
The key to the bottom row is to unlock it by swiping the lock icon in the bottom right. Then the rest is adjustable. 2nd from right seems to be some presets. (And swiping that preset box all the way left seems to crash it.) Once you start playing with all the bottom sliders, this thing is astonishing.
Nice work, Ryan! :-D
Can't big out with the bug
This seems like something that pink Floyd would of loved using on Umma Gumma. Trippy sounds. I love it except , turn it sideways even a little and the screen goes completely white. So as much fun as I had in the short time I had with it. I can't tell how much potential is in this ap. I can def say that there is something there though. I'm going to delete it and reboot it. Hopefully Ryan figures it out.
