Our timer is the perfect companion for your next intensive workout. It’s the successor of our successfull tabata timer app!

We included a bunch of new features for you:
- complete rewritten version that supports the high resolution screen of your iPhone.
- You are now able to change the interval type. We provided +5 intensive interval presets for you
- three different tone sets (voice and two other options)

- visualization of the intervals with three nice graphics designs
- the app does not sleep/lock while in use

High intensive interval training (HIIT) is one of the most effective training principle today. It combines two of best known training methods in one time-efficient way:

the first ist high-intensity training, that pushes to get a maximum effort to achieve muscle fatigue and to consume maximum oxygen in a quick burst. this is measured to one’s VO2 max, which is the highest amount of oxygen, your body consumes during exercise. Working close to your VO2 max triggers the afterburn effect, where the body continues to consume more oxygen up to 48 hours after the workout.

the second is interval training, which alternates periods of intensive effort with periodes of short breaks / low-intensity effort. This boost metabolism significantly longer than a steady workout of equal or greater length.

Bring the old version back please and thank you.

As a busy Personal Trainer and Fitness instructor I have to say I am NOT AMPED about the newer version of THE BEST TABATA APP EVER. The new version is too confusing and frankly..... it is AWFUL. The older version was user friendly, you could hear it over the music and it was easier to see from far away. I use this older version on the daily because it ROCKS. Thank goodness I haven't updated my phone yet because the older version is still there. I was blindsided with this new POS version when I set up my iPad for class and it was like reading Greek. I am further dismayed because it just switched without my knowledge...not cool. I can see I'm not alone in my thoughts on this matter. Be well and have a nice day.

Apple Watch and Background Execution!

Like the new UI, although the name and the look was so different that I didn’t realize that it was the same app at first.

I would love to have the app running on my Apple Watch and have it tap me when I need to start and stop the exercise.

One other feature you really need on iPhone is the ability to run in the background. So I can turn off my phone screen during the exercise. Saves my battery and keeps me from hitting the buttons by accident.

I don't know why everyone is complaining

I truly don't understand why everyone is whining about the update. The PRO is well worth the money and you have different sets. Tabata, metabolic, gladiator, superset, etc. You can change the color and the look of the timer. More features for what you already paid for. If you can't take 10 seconds to find the timer you want, then why are you working out? That's pure laziness.
