Do not use this platform to sell
UPDATE. I'm currently on WEEK 5 of waiting for my money from my sales. WEEK 5. I've sent emails, messages and a PayPal request and they've all gone unanswered. TackHunter took their cut from my sales and has never paid me.
I've never had a sale that's gone smoothly using this app. It's supposed to take only a few minutes for the shipping labels to be made available for print, and yet every sale I've made, it's taken a minimum of 3 days. When I eventually get a response from their tech support, I always get the same answer "This is so unusual, this never happens, this is a temporary issue...." yet it's happened to me after every sale for months now.
Earnings that are released are only supposed to take a few days to appear in your account, yet several times it's taken my earning 10 days or MORE to appear. I'm currently day 14 of waiting for my money to appear in my account. You'll wait almost a week for a shipping label, then wait 2-3 days for shipping, then 2-3 days for the order to be approved, then 2 days for your earnings to be released, and then 14+ days for your earning to be put in your account. You will wait a MONTH for your money, with absolutely no support from their tech team.
Don't waste your time on this app. It's a total joke.
Poor Quality app with a major lack of support!
There are several issues with his app, none of which seem to be a priority for them.
I don’t advise you use this app if you can’t handle your funds being tied up for... quite a while.
You buy an item, the funds are immediately deducted from your PayPal, and then you wait.
The seller is supposed to receive a prepaid shipping label once the buyer has paid, yet it takes days (longest I’ve experienced is 11 days) to receive a label, and that is WITH request emails to support!
You ship an item, it is delivered and accepted, and then you wait.
Your funds should be made available immediately, and they usually are, but once you request to deposit them, the real wait begins.
Over twenty days from requesting a deposit, with multiple e-mails back and forth with support. Every response from them is the same, and none include action or explanation.
It comes down to this:
Actions that benefit the app are immediate, and actions the cost the app are pro longed.
On top of this unreliability there seems to be no regulation for age or accountability of users.
I have seen multiple “listings” calling out users and sharing their personal information such as full name and address!
For an app that has a lot of personal information of its users, it’s the lack of discretion and accountability that worries and disappoints me.
This app was a great forum for buying and selling all things horsey at first. Then, a couple months into me using they sent that email that we all know and love out to all TackHunter users. Ever since then I have had absolutely ZERO response from support. I have a redemption request from 2+ months ago that still has not reached my bank account and multiple others that are nearing 1+months since initial request.
That being said, I have reached out to support multiple times. At first, prior to the email, they kept saying the issue would be resolved in 2-3 business days. Well, 2-3 business day came to pass multiple times over and NOTHING! The last contact I had with them was September 10, 2018. All inquiries after that have been ignored with no response. As of now, they have about $200 of my money that I haven’t seen!
And, I’m kind of worried that I never will....
