This is a Mahjongg between one player and one computer, using Taiwan mahjongg's rule, with 16 tiles.

It has a girl's sounds, and the musics are very attractive and you will be lost in it:-)

It is just good enough to play, but be careful to choose the right tile, there is no undo!

Cannot get it open!!

I have played this game on my ipad and it’s quite enjoyable but I downloaded onto my Macbook Air and it won’t open!! Or rather it keeps closing unexpectedly before the game actually starts. And I don’t see any good Reporting it to Apple because I have hit the Report button close to 10 times in the last 15 minutes.

Good game for practicing

Thank you for finally making a REAL mahjong game—not the silly tile matching game! This game uses Taiwan rules and has good graphics and good music. I haven't found any bugs and it's fun to play. But the whinny lady telling you to hurry gets a little annoying. There is no English with this game, so you need to either know mahjong well, or speak and read Mandarin. It's a simple version of the game; you can't see the whole board. It's a two-player game, not four player. But that's fine—it's still fun and good practice.

I hope the developer continues to improve on this game, but it's already pretty nice. It's definitely worth the $1.99 price for a good diversion game.

Some improvements I'd suggest: ability to turn off the lady's voice; turn it into a four-player game and show all players; ability to switch to other rules like Hong Kong or Japan. If the developer did some of that, then this would easily be worth $10 or more.

Not very good -- I deleted it

I was looking for a game that teaches you some form of the real Mahjong (not the solitaire, tile-matching game). This one is okay, but it clearly has a limited repertoire of deals/hands (if you play a number of times you begin to recognize patterns in the deals/hands)

There's a speaker icon -- presumably to toggle sound off or on -- it doesn't work on my macbook pro (mountain lion). I had to mute the macbook's sound.

Nothing really to help you learn how the scoring works, or the rules of the play. I deleted the app.
