I wish there was an option to play your own music. I have a library with lots of meditation music and wish there was an app out there that allowed me to listen to my own music as the app guided me through meditations.
Seriously, there doesn't seem to be a single app that does this. Seems pretty simple to me. Not sure why it's not offered.
The music in this app is okay. It's just not what I find ideal. Some people might love it, but not me.
The narrators voice is very calming and she does a very nice job of guiding one.
I downloaded this free app of yours to see if I could play my own music, but I cannot. If I could, I would have bought your other apps in a heartbeat.
Ideally, after your guided meditation finishes, the music would keep playing indefinitely.
Please update your apps accordingly and I will be your best customer! I could find no way to contact you, so I hope you read your reviews.
Great for Newbies
I'm a newbie to meditation and found it difficult to control my thoughts in past attempts to meditate, so didn't stick with it. I like that she says its okay if the thought come because i feel less guilty and feel okay with continuing on with the meditation. Primarily use the 7 min. prior to starting my work day. I am a hurried person. Always busy, on the move, like I have ADHD. This app helps me start in a state of calm, taking time to identify my to do lists for the day. I find I stay relatively focused on the list. I also find, if I bypass the mediation that I resort back to my hurried behavior.
Would recommend this app.
Good, but focuses a bit on the negative.
I really like this app and the 'sister' apps in the store. I like the UI, as it's straight-forward. The options and lengths are nice. On this app though, she keeps saying to "focus on and feel the pressure from the stress". It keeps bringing my focus back to my stress, especially after releasing some if it she brings up "the pressure" again and doesn't offer suggestions on how to decrease it other than to "breathe and embrace it." It seems she's talking off the cuff and didn't write a thoughtful meditation. I prefer the Simply Being meditation app better.
