This app is the best thing ever! I have very severe anxiety and this app allowed me to relax, focus and relieve the stress and pressure that I felt. I have done guided meditations before but this app allowed me to meditate whenever and wherever I needed too! If you have bad anxiety or get overwhelmed this is a great app to have when you have those feelings. I was skeptical at first but I tried it the first day I got the app and I have done it every night since! I just want to thank the creators and also encourage anyone reading this review to get this app. It really does help! If it helped me it can help you!

Great for Panic Attacks too!

Being a teenage girl with severe anxiety disorder is a major blockade for doing simple everyday tasks. After my counselor recommended this to me, it's been my Holy Grail app. When I am having a panic attack or just feeling anxious, I just put in my headphones in class and listen while doing class work or before exams/tests. It's proven to help me personally, and would recommend to everyone! This simple app helps me get to school every morning and becoming a contributing soldier in my anxiety battle. Big thanks for creating this app!

Wrong direction

I enjoyed the speakers relaxing voice. However her technique did not help me relax. I feel that she encouraged me to keep focusing on the negative thoughts and pressure, rather than just observing them and letting them go. Ideally, she would instruct us to return our focus to the breathing and let go of the “pressure” (or just ignore it and let it be). Otherwise, if one continues to FEEL the pressure, it will bring more energy to the pressure (instead of drawing energy and attention AWAY from it). I am not suggesting one should suppress the pressure feelings, but we should not give it that much attention either. Returning to the breath is ideal. (as per Deepak Chopra and other wise meditators)
