Tales from Dragon Mountain: the Lair
I enjoyed the story, but missed a few dragons because I didn’t know I was suppose to collect them until I accidently clicked on one. I liked the puzzles with combinations of easy and more challenging. Lots of jumping around from one scene to another which I didn’t enjoy a lot. The ending was OK, but I expected a little better. This is my first object to find/puzzle to complete type game. I did play Myst and other similar type games for hours on end, so to me it seemed to be a shorter and simpler version of Myst. Still, the artwork was nice. Mina seems to be a bit “sour” looking which doesn’t fit her “nice” and “helpful” character. All in all, I’ll play it again.
Tales From The Dragon Mountain: The Lair
I enjoyed the game and since I click everywhere on the screen early in the game, I found the Stone Dragons quickly (I can’t get out of the habit of looking for programmers’"Easter Eggs”). The puzzles/minigames were a good mix from easy to hard, The graphics are terrific without being over done, and the countryside/village have a comfortable feeling to them, which will pull me into playong the game, as will anything that looks like alphabetical or symbolic characters for usiing to solve puzzles. The ending could have been a bit moe dramatic and threatening, setting up Mina for another round with Strix.
Tales from the Dragon Mountain: the Lair
Relatve ease thru some of the puzzles. Similiar to the original MYST games. The end puzzle bit of a challenge but beatable. Lol could have used name of Daenery’s only the dragon in the game not of Drogon in game of thrones. Stryk remined me of Joffrey the brat, only stryx escaped. Interesting to see if the sequel uses more antimated, then again the update version would need price upgrade Graphics do take up memory.. Now i am watching two 11 year old playing the game helping with the puzzles, do not think they can complete game in 2.5 hours.. Good escape from stress..
