What's New in Version 1.4
Fixed a bug in the calculation of sunrise and sunset local time
Added AdMob support
1) Non-military time would be nice
2) The option for Farenheit would be nice.
3) For some reason the date is stuck on 2/8/10.
Update: the date was fine. It's DD/MM/YYYY format. Unusual choice.
My big problem with thus is I don't trust the data. When I opened it yesterday it said the max UV index would be 2. It took a number of reloads before it changed to a max of 9. Today, it's saying the max will be 5. My other app has maxes of 8-9 all week (it is the middle of the summer, after all). How can I use this when the data isn't accurate?
Another update: Location services have to be on before opening the program in order to update the data, even if your city is being listed. Another strange quirk, but I'm warming up to this app.
Yet another update. I was viewing the data with "include cloud coverage" on. Handy feature. Quirky, but this app is really growing on me.
I've had this app for about a week, and I've only seen the correct UV number once. The weather channel app and the coppertone app say the same UV number, but this app has a number MUCH higher. Good app in theory but unreliable.
Can't change location
I am goin away and want to know what kind if sunscreen I should bring and UV I could expect. If it works at my location, why not be able to edit locations?
