Ratings and Reviews
As other reviewers have noted, it is so close to the original, yet is just off.
But ignore what you used to know, this is a wildly fun game that hasn't been bought out and shut down by Disney as TapTap was. Responds well and is rarely laggy, and performs much better than the video-based second edition, even though the second edition has better graphics.
I actually deleted TapTapReborn2 after a while because loading videos and having them play above my game was just too cumbersome and slow. This is the best game like this out there.
It’s exciting to see this game make a return, and I’d love to see it grow and become better than Revenge. Here are a few adjustments to see it get there.
A way to download songs so those of us who pay for our data can play more on the go would be great.
Full songs are definitely a necessity. It’s not satisfying finishing a game but half of the song going unheard.
I’ve been interrupted mid-game by video ads. This is not a huge deal and one that I can tolerate. However, Revenge has a count down timer when going back into the game after it was interrupted. This variant just starts. A count down timer is a small detail to add, but one that would be appreciated by many I’m sure.
This one is almost as fluid as the previous series, but there’s still a sluggish barrier between your fingers and the beats that is just barely noticeable.
Thanks for delivering on a great game so far, and I look for to a greater game in the time to come.
To everyone who says it crashing
It was fun when it was working. But for everyone who says it keeps crashing I think it is clear to see in version history that they have discontinued updates for this game so it will no longer work on any current iOS version. They probably want you to use Tap Tap reborn 2 or higher if they have made more. It’s unfortunate that they do not say that the game has been discontinued and probably will not work on any update iOS. Their last update is listed to be a year ago.
