Customer Reviews

This game probably saved my life

Long story short, I was going through a really rough time for a few months last year, and on my worst days, I was suffering from about 4 full-fledged mental breakdowns a day. This game was the only thing I found that could successfully calm me and help bring me out of an episode. I found that it basically forced me to sit down for about 7 minutes at a time and just focus on tapping the vitality (I was trying to get the anniversary whale shark at the time) and it helped me start breathing normally and start thinking clearly again. Absolutely love this game, and as someone with a bachelors in marine biology, I also love the fish available, both the real and the more creative ones.

Great game!

Just to say I almost never give reviews but thought this one deserved it! When I saw this game it looked great and I was excited to play. Looking at the reviews saying things like ‘the ads are so annoying and I have to keep closing out of the game...etc.’ made me apprehensive to get it. I’ve been playing the game for a few days now and have had absolutely zero problems so far! It’s a fun and relaxing game that I personally enjoy very much. It flows smoothly, looks great and surprisingly takes a lot less battery life than I expected! And I’m glad to say that as far as I can tell, it’s an original game that isn’t a buy to win type of game. 5 Stars deserved!

Overcomplexified

The game got quickly and needlessly complex about 6 months ago and I just stopped playing. When it was tapping, returning every few hours for vitality boosts, growing coral, and creating fish, it was beautifully simple, calm, easy, and relaxing.

Now you’re earning pearls AND gems that separately pay for different things, there’s daily challenges and “ocean collections” with notifications that don’t go away, “harvesting” and earning krill and crabs and plankton, roulette games, options to decorate with seaweed and expand your reef and add sand castles... each menu now has 2-3 sub-menus embedded inside it. It feels unfocused and frantic and busy. This game for sure suffered due to the all-at-once explosion of a billion accessory features and functions it didn’t need.
