Tappysack is a simple game where your goal is to keep your hacky sack in the air by tapping it. The longer it stays up the more colorful and alive the background becomes. Music plays, bees start buzzing around and butterflies flutter by. Eventually the sun sets and crickets and fireflies emerge. Drop your ball, and the background reverts back to its initial black and white state.
- Natural feeling ball physics
- Beautiful hand painted graphics
- Relaxing background music
- "Normal", "Hard", "Zen" and "Walls" modes
- Multiple ball designs
- Game Center leaderboards
I recently purchased this for my new iPad3 and do not regret it. One of the most artfully captivating and musically calming games I've ever found. I played hackysack in college over 20 years ago before classes. Now as a professional I can play before work.
Other comments: The footbag will respond to angle taps very well. I've yet to figure out how to adjust the strength of the tap though. The bag can also be tapped higher and higher but as with the real deal, velocity comes into play on the way down.
Very challenging yet very fun and simply stunning!
So far this game is really fun and also can be quite the challenge. It looks like a very beautiful game from what I can tell so far. I do look forward to diving into this more because I can see it's going to take some practice. I can only get to a count of 10 but I really can't wait wait to see more of the rich and colorful sound and graphics. Oh and you need to play with walls, TRUST ME! I would love to see an update with music from my iPod and walls in zen mode to make it all that more relaxing. Great job so far!
I've always loved this simple but hard to master game on my phone. Now I have the native iPad version. No more tapping the *1 button by mistake. It's fun trying to notice the world become more vibrant and alive with critters whilst tapping the sack. I wish there was an in game way to video capture the game and upload your favorite session or best session. Thanks for the great must have game. I'd never have thought I'd enjoy a game I don't even enjoy IRL. Word.
