What's New in Version 3.0.3
Fixes a problem with the Twitter API which prevented Tweets from sometimes appearing.
good start - a few other features needed
I really like this app but it takes a bit of space on my desktop when there are no messages. I have the width set at about 1/5 of the width of my display and sitting in the bottom right corner. When there are no messages, it simply takes up space. What I would like to suggest is that there is a setting that makes disappear when no message or it “springs out” like an accordian when a message comes up and then shrinks back when no message is showing. Also, I’d like to have the ability to not show the app icon that is at the right…it takes up more space. Thanks!
Great social media App!
I’ve been using this for about a year and love it. I wasn’t really that into Twitter and Facebook before, but it makes it so easy to keep up. I love it during sporting events and other live events especially. Since you can specifically add certain hashtags, you can customize how much of something you see which is great for live events. I also like being able to retweet and reply directly from the bar. I’d definitely recommend this for anyone who already loves social media or anyone who wants to get into it more.
Great idea, occasionally needs to be restarted
This is a near perfect implementation for a Twitter ticker. I use it all the time. Clicking on Tweets brings them up in a browser. The only problem is that occasionally it simply stops tickering tweets and you have to restart it. I wouldn’t really mind this at all if it remembered where it was on the screen. Unfortunately, you have to place it again manually. But overall, a great app.
