Customer Reviews

I don't review apps, but Target's App has been driving me mad for months!!

First, I'll say I still use the app. It's on my phone and my pad. I start my orders on the app and then I have to finish them by going to the Target website on the Internet because trying to buy on the site is impossible. Currently, every time I go to my cart on my iPad, the app crashes, but not on my iPhone. But I can't complete a checkout on my phone either due to crashes during the process. It's just a grab bag of crap.

Even if they fixed those things, I'd still rate the app only a 3. Why? I can't sort items I'm shopping for by price. It's their sort or nothing and that's not right. I want to be able to scan items in the store for prices and follow items I like to watch for price changes like I used to be able to do.

Target execs, get on the ball. I know you have the talent available in Minnesota, hire the right people if you need to! This app is crap. Get it fixed.

Frustrating! Awful!

Target - you do so many things well, so how is it you can't design an app that works??? On my iPad, this thing dumps my cart, or won't let me get to my cart, AND randomly crashes completely at least every 15-20 minutes. Don't even get me started on trying to check out. You'd think Target is discouraging one to purchase its merch. This is particularly disappointing, since the best use of the app would be to acquire the many, many things that can't be bought in the stores. The results on my iPhone are similar. Is this a problem b/c of the update to iOS 9? Actually, I don't care. If you want my business (currently ~$450 in said disappearing cart), keep up! Guess I won't be buying anything this day...

Does Target not want me to buy from them?

I found a couple products I wanted to buy. I went to check out and signed in. I was asked to sign in again because the app handles purchases within a browser versus the app itself. After a second sign in, the app crashes. Re-launched the app, re-signed in, and my stored RedCard information was incorrect even though nothing has changed about it. Re-added my card information and tried purchasing my items again. The entire app crashed, purchase was not made, and my cart was lost. I've had such horrible shopping experiences at Target, both online and in store, and I'm an employee of Target. I expect far better from them.
