Ratings and Reviews
From flatscreen TVs to patio furniture, from motor oil to Minecraft hoodies, chances are Target has what you’re looking for. We use this intuitive app to snag that one item we need or browse popular deals in our favorite categories. Target can deliver items to your door or get them ready for pickup at your nearest Target store, and Apple Pay support means fast, hassle-free checkout. You might consider buying a nice rocking chair to sit in while telling kids how hard shopping was back in the old days.
Lifesaver for a busy working mom
I looooove the Target app. It is so convenient for anyone who feels like they are juggling multiple responsibilities. It’s so easy to check the stock of an item at their stores (an if it’s out of stock as your store where the closed store with that item might be). The drive up option has been a game changer... seriously. I discovered it last fall and I can’t tell you how frequently I’ve used that feature. I can throw a few items in my “cart” on my way out of the office, and by the time I’ve done my done commute and daycare pick up, my items are ready at target. We pull up in the parking lot and someone brings my items out to my car and I’m on my way home. It cuts out (some) of the impulse buys.... but the convenience may counter those saving by making it so much easier to shop. I wish you could get perishable items through drive up but I understand that would add more layers of complexity.
The only thing I would improve is the cartwheel integration. I like that it’s an all in one app now, but I miss some of the fun features of the cartwheel app, like tracking savings, earnings badges, etc. I’ve found the cashiers sometimes get confused as to wether they are scanning my app for cartwheel or wallet (payment).
Overall, not sure how this target addict would function without this lovely app and I appreciate the efficiencies it adds to my day.
Not a bad app
This is my first time writing a review for the Target app. First I’d like to say that I enjoy using it. The app has lots of nice colors. Everything is done in a nice order and you can find what you want. But there are some cons. One, I wish that I could put things on my list in any order that I wanted like alphabetical or by number or by category. I also wish that when you place an order online that you could make sure you had all of your items in place for pick up at the store or sent to your house. I recently placed and order for two Halloween items and one came to my house and the other went to store pickup. I didn’t see the error until I had finished the order and saw the email the next day. I called, but the order was already being shipped. At least I can take the order back to the store. I am glad that you can use your debit card to place orders. Some places don’t let you do that and it makes it easier to keep track of what you have gotten. Overall I am very pleased with it and I am glad that they got rid of the little rewards bit where you unlocked prizes in the app after you bought certain items or went to different departments in the store. It was hard to try to unlock all of the categories.
